ok I need to know if people would like the sequal so heres the story I would really like for you to read it and tell me what you think.

Summary: This is a twist of Balto 2. Ok well Aleu is adopted and she and Kodi have fallen in love. TO hide their shame they keep the love out of public (and the fact that their siblings). But word gets out and Aleu and Kodi try to go their seperate ways but their love it just to stong.

Prologue
It had been a little over a year since my pups Saba, Dingo, Aleu, Kodi, Sumi and Abby had been adopted. I don’t know what I would’ve done if one of the pups were left behind and forgotten. I only really saw Aleu and Kodi granted Dingo and Saba were dead and Sumi and Abby move to anchorage.
. Aleu was a normal house dog and Kodi was on the mail team. Dead or alive Janna and I loved each of our pups with all our hearts.
Chapter 1
“Get down princess!” Sophie called to her dog, Aleu. Princess? Hah don’t make me laugh I’m Aleu! Aleu thought. She stood on the table and howled repeatedly. But all of the sudden she was grabbed her collar and thrown off the table.
“Gosh princess this isn’t the wild! You’re in a house for goodness sakes!” Sophie’s dad shouted.
“Sophie why don’t you take her on a walk?” The mom said.
“Ok mom.” She laughed and ran to grab the leash. Aleu rolled her eyes. Leash, I’m wild gosh dang it! She thought.
Sophie hooked the leash onto Aleu’s collar and the walked out the door. As the walked into town Aleu spotted the mail team coming in. Kodi! She thought as she wagged her tail. She tugged on the leash, yanking it out of Sophie’s hands.
“Princess!” she called. Aleu ran for Kodi, panting happily.
Kodi looked over and jumped happily at Aleu. The musher unhitched the dogs. Kodi walked with Aleu.
“Hey Aleu, that’s a pretty collar.” Kodi said with a smile.
Aleu looked at the pink collar with the gold license dangling on the front.
“Hah, thanks.” she said “So how have you been?”
“Good, hey do you want to go to the boiler room and talk?”
“No my girl is gonna get upset.” Aleu rolled her eyes “I’ll talk to you later.”
“Honestly Princess who do you think you are? Running off like that.”
Duh, a dog. Aleu thought. She was literally kicked outside.
“Stupid humans.” Aleu muttered. “I’ll go find Kodi.” She whispered and hopped the fence.
She ran to the boiler room and saw Kodi talking to Kirby.
“Ahem.” She said
They looked over. “Aleu!” Kodi smiled
He walked over and nuzzled her.
“Are you two mates?” Kirby asked. Kodi said “no” and Aleu said “yes” they both blushed.
“Ha-ha well I’ll leave you two to figure that out.” Kirby said and left the boiler room. It was just them. They exchanged glances until Kodi said.
“Come sit.”
Aleu nodded and walked over to him. She sat down next to him.
“Aleu, we can’t keep the fact that we’re not related a lie to the local dogs.” Kodi said
“But I really wish that-”
“I do too. I love you more than anything on earth but…” His voice trailed off. Did he say love? Did he feel the same way about Aleu?
“Does that mean we still can’t be together?” Aleu whined
“I don’t know. I think that it would be best that we go our separate ways.”
Aleu nodded “Ok.”
She got up and started walking away when Kodi tackled her. She looked up at him.
“Are you ok with that?” He asked “Because I…” His voice trailed off. He studied his sister and soon leaned in to lick her neck. But did she still feel the same? Of course! She couldn’t get over him that quickly.
Chapter 2
Aleu waited to feel him lick her. Bu there was a noise. Some one else was in the boiler room! The figure looked like Balto. Dad! Aleu thought
“Get off of me!” She shouted and pushed him off. Kodi looked shocked. “You pervert!” She called and ran off.
She ran home and hoped that Kodi wasn’t hurt to bad. A precious moment was wasted. I'm lucky enough to have a stud! Aleu thought to herself. Let’s hope I didn’t ruin it.

That night Kodi dreamt of Aleu, He thought of her and pictured them together with pups. He was obsessed. He lay on the carpet in the living room of his human pup’s home.
“Doesn’t she love me?” Kodi asked himself. Doesn’t she feel the same way I feel about her? What was with the sudden pervert outburst? He began to think. Questions zoomed in and out of his mind until he started falling asleep. Tomorrow is Saturday, I don’t deliver the mail. I can see Aleu then.
He fell asleep silently.

Aleu barked at an owl that sat on a tree hanging over their yard. The owl taunted her with it’s hoots witch ticked Aleu off. She growled and barked but it was no use. Sophie’s dad came out and hit her with the newspaper.
“Knock it off!” He said in a soft yell and stomped back inside. Aleu gritted her teeth at the owl but relaxed at the thought of Kodi.
The lay down and sighed while thinking over her forbidden love, Kodi. What if Aleu ended up with pups? Her parents would ask who the lucky guy was. Tomorrow she’ll talk to Kodi about confessing to their parents.
Chapter 3
Aleu woke up was a warm lick on her ear.
“Huh?” She asked and looked around. Kodi had wrapped his body around hers.
“Good morning.” He smiled. Aleu smiled and yawned. She stood up, Kodi did the same. Her expression was warm. She smiled and liked him once on the muzzle.
“Kodi, can this wait?”
“What?”
“Don’t take in the wrong way.” She nuzzled “I’ll meat you in the boiler room.”
Kodi looked confused “Ok.” He said and ran off after hopping the fence.
Aleu saw Sophie come out and call her in for food. Aleu trotted inside and begged around the table for a scrap of bacon.
“You have a food bowl over there.” Sophie’s dad said while pointing with his fork. Aleu folded her ears and walked over to the bowl of kibble and raw meat mixed. She ate it quickly and begged to go outside.
“I’ll let her out daddy.” Sophie said and opened to door. She had snuck a piece of bacon from her plate and gave it to Aleu.
Aleu wagged her tail and fan to the door of the gate. He pushed the thing keeping the gate door closed up. The gate opened and she ran out with the bacon in her jaws.

Kodi paced to and fro in the boiler room. What does she want to talk about? Kodi pondered. Does she love someone else? Is she moving? Just then the room door creaked. Kodi looked over and saw Aleu walk in.
“Sorry.” She said
Kodi smirked. Aleu walked over and dropped the bacon in front of Kodi.
“I brought you breakfast.” She said while looking pleased.
“No thanks.” Kodi said “What did you want to talk about?”
“Well, Kodi I love you with all my heart and…” she paused “What if we…have pups?”
“What if we did?”
Aleu nodded “Mom and dad would ask questions.”
Kodi nuzzled his love. “You don’t need to worry about that now.”
Aleu pulled away. “I think we probably should tell them.”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive, their, our family it’s not like they wont love us anymore.”
Kodi liked Aleu on the muzzled. “I’ll tell them.” He said
“No, my love…I’ll tell them.” Aleu replied and nuzzled him. Kodi went along for the ride. He was unsure if he should take things to the next level. Take it easy Kodi. He thought. When she’s ready she’ll let you know.
Chapter 4
Aleu walked to Balto’s boat. She and Kodi both agreed that he would tell their mom and she would tell their dad. She walked up and onto the boat.
“Dad?”
“Aleu?” Balto said while walking out. He smiled and nuzzled her. “What is it?”
Aleu took a step back and prepared herself. When they were pups Balto had told them how loving the same gender of a family member was bad and he never wanted to see it come from his pups.
Just tell him! You can do it.
“Dad, Kodi and I are-uh-mates.” She gulped. Balto’s expression turned to anger.
“Your brother?!”
Aleu nodded slowly.
“How could you do this!? Didn’t I teach you right from wrong?!?!”
“”Poppa I-”
“Don’t give me excuses!” He shouted and turned away “Were did I go wrong?”
Aleu’s eyes fogged with tears. She jumped from the low part of the boat and ran away. She ran back to the boiler room were they agreed to meat back at.
“Aleu what’s wrong?” Kodi asked. Aleu ran and sat next to Kodi and cried on his shoulder. “Dads mad at us.”
“So is mom.” Kodi replied he looked into her eyes “But were in love why should we care?”
Aleu smiled as Kodi whipped her tears with his paw. “Your right.” She whispered. “But what is no one else accepts us?”
“Who says they have to know?” Kodi said coyly “You’re an angel and I will love you no matter what and to the end of my days.”
Aleu slimed and lay down for a nap. Kodi curled up beside her and put his arm around her shoulder.
Aleu fell asleep while Kodi watched over. He loved her and wished to be with her forever. Why should they care what their parents thought? It was everyone else they had to worry about. Nobody, not even Kirby, Ralph or Dusty would accept the fact that they loved each other.
Kodi laid her head on Aleu’s and fell asleep too.

“Have you heard about our kids?!” Balto exclaimed
Jenna nodded “What did we forget to teach them?”
“Nothing Jenna, they’re just messed up.”
“Now Balto, I’m just as mad as you but we need to calm down.”
“Calm down?! I can’t calm down I’m outraged!”
“Balto!”
“No Jenna, I’m going to make sure that those two NEVER have pups and I know just the dog to do so.”
“Balto!” Jenna called but Balto had already started to run towards Kirby. Jenna shook her head, ashamed at Balto’s behavior. She had every bit of anger stored into her but if Aleu and Kodi truly loved each other then she could let it pass by though she won’t be proud.
Chapter 5
“Kirby I’ve got a job for you.” Balto panted
“Sure what is it?”
“I need you to spy on Aleu and Kodi.”
“Why”
“To keep them from having pups.”
Kirby almost jumped out of his skin. “What!”
“There brother and sister.” Balto said, disregarding Kirby’s question.
“Ok.” Kirby said and walked off.

Kirby walked into the boiler room and saw the two forbidden lovers sleeping together. Kirby sighed and walked off. If they want to love each other fine by me. He thought.

Hours later Aleu woke up and licked her brother on the chin. He stirred in his sleep but didn’t wake. Aleu smiled and got up.
“I need to go.” She whispered and ran home. She sat in her fence and watched as the sun started to set.
“Aleu?” She heard Kodi say.
She looked over and saw Kodi hop the fence and walk over to her. He sat down and looked up at the sky.
“It’s beautiful.” She said mainly directing it at Aleu. She laid her head on his shoulder and sighed.
“What are we going to do?” She asked “Word will get out sooner or later.”
Kodi looked down to her head resting on his shoulder. “No matter what I’ll be at your side. As long as we have each other nothing can hurt us.”
Aleu smiled on that thought, he was right. They could go to the ends of the earth. To each other they didn’t seem like siblings.
“Remember when we were pups?” Aleu asked
“Yah.” Kodi said. How could he forget? He had the same feelings for Aleu as he did now although he wasn’t familiar with the emotion he knew that Aleu was the one. Balto had always told them about how incest was bad and so was being gay.
All those days of playing on the beach and mostly playing with Aleu.
Night fell and the two found themselves on a hill watching the Auroras.
“Their so beautiful.” Aleu said
“And romantic.” Kodi added
They looked at each other and smiled. They both leaned in to touch noses but Kodi was pounced on by Dusty.
The three slid down the hill when they reached the bottom Kodi cried.
“Do you mind?!”
“Yah!” Dusty said “You two are brother and sister you shouldn’t be kissing!”
Kodi and Aleu looked at each other.
“That’s right! Kirby told me. A lot of dogs know now.”
Chapter 6
Another precious moment wasted because of Dusty. Aleu and Kodi were often teased now because of their love for each other. They didn’t mind but what if things got worse. If Aleu ended up having pups they’d have to leave to a different town for sure.
Aleu walked around town. She spotted Kodi.
“Kodi!” She barked and began running towards him. “Kodi I need to talk to you.” She said
“Sure, what is it?”
“Kodi I think we should go our separate ways.” Aleu said sadly.
“But why?”
“If I end up hiving pups we’ll have to leave for good.”
“So.”
“Kodi please.” Aleu pleaded. Kodi nodded sadly.
Aleu nuzzled him “I’m sorry.” She knew that this would be the last time that she would smell him and feel his touch. She captured every bit of that moment to save forever. But, it didn’t last long. Kodi drew away and ran off.
“Bye” Aleu whimpered.
5 days later
Aleu walked into the boiler room to soak in old memories. To her surprise it had many dogs in there. Aleu looked around and saw Balto staring at her angrily. She folded her ears and lowered her head. Later she walked out. A figure bumped into her.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” It said
“Kodi?” Aleu asked as if she hadn’t seen him in years. Even though it was dark Aleu would know Kodi anywhere.
Aleu jumped to her paws and smiled. Then remembered that they were never to love again. She lowered her head and slowly walked away.
“Hey, were you going?”
“Home.”
“Do you want to take a walk?”
Aleu’s ears perked. “Sure.” She wagged her tail. The two walked up onto the large hill and watched the stars. Kodi hoped that Aleu would rest her head on his shoulder. But she never did.
“Do you want to play?” Aleu asked happily
“Sure.” Kodi laughed and got into playing position. They touched noses. Both of them made it seem like it was an accident and they quit playing.
They faced away from each other; Finally Aleu turned and nuzzled Kodi causing them both to tumble down the hill.
Chapter 7
Kodi found himself on Aleu. Everything from the chest and down on both hybrids touched. Kodi and Aleu both knew what they wanted and that night they made it happen.
The next morning Aleu trotted home happily. Her heart sang and was full of joy. Same with Kodi’s.
4 weeks later
Aleu knew she was about to have pups but she didn’t know it would all go down hill. She walked in the fence from taking a walk and was kicked in the stomach. Oh know! She thought. She was repeatedly kicked in the stomach and side by Sophie’s dad.
“Why were you out?! You had my daughter worried sick!” He yelled and stomped inside.
Aleu cried for her unborn pups. That was all she did for the fest of the day and all night.
Kodi walked in and saw her crying.
“Aleu?” He questioned “Aleu what’s wrong?!”
“Kodi-the pups-I-I think my master killed them.” She cried. Kodi cried as well he lay down next to her.
The pups were born dead. All seven beautiful pups, gone. Aleu and Kodi cried for the longest time.
Soon they were able to get on with their lives but parts of them made them mourn for their pups.
Kodi and Aleu met up in the boiler room. At first the talked then things were taken up a notch.
Kodi and Aleu repeatedly licked each other. Kodi stood over her and licked her neck. Kirby walked in and stopped at the site. His jaws dropped. Kodi looked up with a shocked expression.
Aleu turned “Can we help you?”
“So it’s true.” Kirby said and walked over to them. “You two are-”
“Mates.” Kodi finished
“You won’t tell anyone were mates again, will you?” Aleu asked
“Of course not. If you two want to be mates that’s fine, no one should keep you apart.”
Kodi backed off Aleu and sat down. Good old’ Kirby. You could always count on him.
“Thanks Kirby.” Aleu said
“No problem.” His expression turned into confusion “Out of all the dogs in Alaska you had to love each other. Why?”
Aleu and Kodi looked at each other. Neither of them knew why they had fallen in love or why they didn’t care. All they knew is that it was best that it was kept a secret
Chapter 8
Aleu ran to the boiler room as fast as she could with Sophie’s dad chasing after her.
“Princess! Princess get over here now!” He called.
But she didn’t stop. She quickly darted into the boiler room and ran to Kodi.
“Kodi!” She panted “Kodi I need to talk!”
“What is it?”
She sadly folded her ears “We’re moving tomorrow.”
“You are?! But why?”
“Sophie’s dad found a new job.”
“To were?”
“Anchorage.”
Kodi looked sad. His eyes filled with tears he tried to hold them back but I was no use. Aleu nuzzled him in comfort. She could feel his tears drip onto her neck and head.
“There you are! C’mon lets go!” Sophie’s dad said and pulled her away from Kodi. She tugged away and Kodi followed her out of the boiler room but stopped and stood at the door.
The next day.
“This is it. My ride to anchorage.” Aleu said sadly.
“Yah.” Kodi said and looked passed her to see her family and other people aboard the train. The train whistled and Sophie called her over.
Aleu nuzzled Kodi and said her goodbyes then quickly jumped onto the train and to her family.
As the train started to move Aleu looked out the window. Kodi began trotting then running after it to keep Aleu in sight but her face quickly faded away. He lay down and cried. He couldn’t believe she was gone and he remembered every nose touch, every nuzzle, every lick, her scent and her image.
Kodi struggled to all four paws. With out Aleu it seemed like his world crashed and burned. He was weak and depressed. His legs wobbled and his heart was in his stomach. His tears dripped on the melting snow as he slowly walked to his human pup’s house with a sad heart and a head that was hung low.

A Moment Like this and a Sea of Troubles
It had been months since the two forbidden lovers: Kodi and Aleu have seen or heard of each other. Aleu had reunited with Sumi and Abby. Kodi was going on with his regular life. But, holes in their hearts longed for one another.
Aleu spent woke up every night longing to feel Kodi’s warm kisses, Kodi often sat in the boiler room hoping that his angel would come and ask him for comfort.
