The first one.

The art in the first movie was hand painted (the backgrounds) and beautifully animated for it's time.
The second one had an okay story, but the art was all CG (didn't feel very Disney at all) and the characters were lazily animated and kinda just thrown together. There were also flaws in the storyline that contradicted both the first movie and original novel.

Ya just can't beat the original

Yeah, Bambi 2 was more like Lion King 1 1/2. It wasn't quite a prequel, but it definetely wasn't a sequal. It was confusing. Also, Ronno was supposed to be 1 year older then Bambi (according to the book. Also, in the first movie, you can see Ronno has 1 more tine on his antlers then Bambi), yet in the second movie, the're mere monthes apart in age! Weird...

In the first one, she's the same age as Bambi. In the second one at the end of the movie, Bambi aged but Faline still had her spots...perhaps she found the fountain of youth?

Also, in the first movie, Thumper had 5 sisters. In the second, he only has 4...

Because the stupid people who make all these Disney sequals probably don't even bother watching the original movie to see what the heck is going on

I dunno, really. They are rabbits after all. Maybe one got eaten >_<

According to the novel, Friend Hare had a son that was brutally killed...that's explains it if you ask me.
