Until (or, more fittingly, IF) the section epecially for "R" and "PG-13" fics gets made, this can serve as a temporary holding place. I have no ability to enforce these rules, but PLEASE post notifications atop the fics with gayety, incest, and the ones with strong sexual content. Even though this section is for more adult fics, further identification with these fics would be VERY nice. If you'd do that, then this can be sort of a makeshift section until the "Boss" makes an official one. (If he decides to) Oh and one more thing, this is NOT a discussion topic. Put your fic in here, not your conversations, please.

It's common curtisy for people to forewarn what contents of their fic MAY be offensive, but unfortunately there will always be people who dont care about that But I think an adult section for this site, although it's a nice thought, it'd be kind of...contradicting, for lack of a better word. Since this is a kids' site and all, adults (and even some kids) here need to understand that, and should they post something like a fanfic that contains adult content it NEEDS to have a warning about it, whether it spoils anything or not. And just to make this short, if the adult content on this site is THAT much of a problem, then there needs to be a rule stating that things for children 13+ years old may not be displayed on this site. There are plenty of other sites to post fanfics like that.

But then again, if a person write's a fic that COULD be considered R-rated, but wrote it in a way where kids wouldn't understand it, there shouldn't be a problem with it. It's kind of like editing certain parts of movies on TNT. It shows JUST enough to know what's going on, but doesn't show what may "disturb" the kids watching.

It could work, but some may go over the top and will make it too adult, its possible though, it is worth a try but you have too be very careful on how it is done and the mods would have too check up on it daily too make sure nothing is too adult for this forum, there are some limits.

ohhhh okay I think I mis-delivered something, the only reason I posted this with an exclamation mark is so it would attract as much attention as possible for people who wanted to post their pics that would fit on here. I think it made you guys think that I'm trying to PROMOTE making "R" and "PG-13" fics, I'm just trying to make this place as well-known as possible so those kind of fics would be collected into one place (I know this won't happen with EVERY fan fic but that goes without saying). I didn't want you guys to think that I'm ENCOURAGING such fics that are disturbing, I was just trying to make a place where people could put theirs so they wouldn't be spread out all over the site and forums. Sorry if I was unclear. . .(Most of this was inspired by an idea from one of the people that replied on Baltoseppala's topic about characters, I was testing to see how well it would go) agian, sorry if I was unclear. (oh and Sarafina, the avatar furthest to the right on your signature is HOT!! Nala has always been extremely GORGEOUS at least to me, lol)

There is ratings & warnings for a reason. =D ^^ This is all I have to say. =D

Well, about half of my fics are PG-13/R rated, but I always make sure to warn the reader waaaaaay before hand that the story could contain something offensive. Other than that, if I ever write something that is too explicit for this site (which I have done), I'll post it elsewhere so that the young and curious don't read it.

(BTW, if anyone is interested to read the "said fic", just PM me and make sure that you're old enough to read something like that. Okay?)

But I agree with Mayahuskee. Isn't the point of ratings to warn people of certain content that some may consider as offensive? (But of course, some tend not to listen or pay attention . . . blah, screwballs.)

I'm not and am with this this might work so people will lay off, and then I don't want to put my work under something else, I feel it takes away something as a writer that my work and I'm hopefully meaning everyone don't want to be contained because of what the content is there WARNINGS and ratings already what could go wrong? But I see your point, by Steet could do theres put by favs or new thing on the fan on the site couldn't we do that by rating? the Rs will be at the top then the pg-13 the pg then gs or the other way wouldn't that be good enough. Well on the forums it's just fine in my opinion, maybe in title you tell the rating. But having a section to read the more mature ones would be nice but.

People already put the ratings on their topics. We deffinately don't need an area for PG-13 & R rated fics.

I honestly don't think this is necessary as long as we all write in moderation and put warnings at least in our summaries.
This should be an open forum and, as I think was said before, It's almost reverse pyschology. Younger people are bound to notice and check out this big topic now when they may have only glanced over teen-oriented fics.

My point is: we shouldn't need a PG-13/R section. Write in moderation, and use warnings, either in the summary or in the fic itself.

If a reader starts to flame, PM me or one of the other mods and we'll do our best to resolve it quickly.
