Hallo, its me again. I have Ninetalesuk to thank for the inspiration for this one. I'm going to call it Blood Lust. Why you ask? Well....

Kodi walked up to her and said,
"Hey, would you-" The brown female spun around and Kodi took a step back. For an instant, he saw fire in her eyes, but it vanished and her expression lightened.
"I'm sorry," she said sweetly, "I thought you were someone else." Someone else? Kodi thought, who?
"I was just wondering... Well, you've been sitting back here all alone and I thought you might need some friends."
"Oh, thank you," she replied, standing up and following him out of the boiler room. As they walked down main street, Kodi asked her,
"So, uh, why'd you move here?"
"Well," she replied, "I...My humans had some problems with our old town."
"Really, where did you come from?"
"Fairbanks, actually."
"Really, my dad's been in Fairbanks for about a week, so he probably ran into you." Or maybe I ran into him, she thought, remembering what she could from a few days before, Well, there was this one brown dog, but he looked almost wolf...
"What does he look like?"
"Oh, you wouldn't have missed him," Kodi replied, "He's grayish-brown, kinda like you, and he's...well, part wolf." That was him, she thought, her face turning pale for a moment, I hope he's still alive...

Okay, there's your teaser. I love cliff hangers! However, I need a name for the female. Any ideas?

I voted first! Because you have done a good teaser here... and the female dog's name... could be Fina...

And why do I have a feeling that this female dog ATTACKED Balto...?

You should write it because its always nice for people to write fan fiction. Oh and for the name maybe you should try usuing some places in Alska as reference just like how universal did. Im not so good at making names my self.

Thanks. I've got a list of possible names now. Anyway, I'll keep you posted. A New Life is nearly compliete, and when it is, I'm switching gears to Blood Lust!

Thanks for your opinion, but I don't just post random segments, I ussually post my stories chapter by chapter. If everyone wants me to, though, I can wait until its completely done before posting it.

How true, how true! Plus, A New Life is nearly complete! I've been working on this one for at lest four months. I almost had it finished once, but then I deleted practically everything and started over. Why? I really don't know.
Anyway, this is my last week of school, and we get out EARLY! Therefore, I will write.

There's some.
I always try to use names that have to do with nature (Timbre, Lighting) or native names (Talkeet, June) for the wolves, as they are supposed to be kind of the "indians". I try to use somewhat "normal" sounding names (Dash, Flash, Max, Melody ext.) for the dogs, to make them seem a little more tamed, those are human names, so... well, I won't get into the whole theory of domestication that I think plays a huge role in the story. (If I did, I'd still be typing this time tomorrow.)
