I think if every balto fan got a hundred signatures for the petition then i think we can get this thing going to universal. If we keep sending our petition in it will annoy them then the only way to stop is to make balto a classic. it haves to work if not then balto is just dead.
PLEASE we have to get balto a classic its our only hope

Maybe later. I think the problem with the petition we made was that we requested too many things, so they didn't get our point. Maybe requesting only for ONE thing could work. And if I would do this, it would be requesting a special edition dvd, yes.

You mean put Balto on HD-DVD? I think that a normal DVD is big enough for a 77 minutes long film and for any extra; and also, remember that there are the dual layer DVDs (8 GB) if the space isn't enough. And so far a HD-DVD reader is too expensive, more than 600$.
Yes...the balto movie on my computer is only, like 650 Megabytes. Consider it long enough, and might begin to think it's not really worth it. (Any by "worth it", I mean size space to availability.)

The Balto 1 and Balto 3 DVD are dual-layer already. (5-6 GB I think, at least for the european versions) Well that's surely not the reason that prevented them from offering real extras...
But yes, I also have a DivX version of the films on my hard drive and I always watch them that way, because I'm always too lazy to look for and insert the dvds
