I don't think this is someone who is a Balto Source fan artist, but I could be wrong.

Someone sent me the color art shown below, when I was on MySpace. She said she "googled" it, but didn't remember where she got it or who drew it. I suspect it was found on a deviantArt page.

Does anyone recognize the work, or the artist's style? I'd really like to contact the artist and ask permission to make use of it for my two-part crossover fan fic story. This is the second time someone on I know on MySpace (a different person this time) got hold of a great piece of artwork, but there was no reference to the artist (and nothing on the drawing indicates it). In THIS case, the person who discovered it wasn't being malicious...she just didn't happen to remember where she saw it. So I WON'T tolerate any accusations against her or myself being thieves! I've not used this in any place yet, and won't without permission (the same is true of my friend)!

Anyway, any help would be great! Thanks!

Hmmm....I dont recall seeing any Balto art in quite that style, but I may have a few artists in mind. I'm gonna try to google it myself to see what I find, cuz I'm pretty curious.

i'm not sure, but i think the pic belongs to O-ha. just going by the style.

O-ha? Do you have a link to that person's site? Or any contact info so I can double-check?

Oh yes.. I remember that being Fan Art of the week a while back... I don't think it's O-Ha though......

So it might be someone on Balto Source? Wow...that would help a lot!

Sorry for the double-post. I just wanted to let you know that I have e-mailed the artist. It appears (from his e-mail address) that he's in the Netherlands, so I'm hoping he won't be long in replying. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

:P Glad i could help out. But, i don't want to dampen your hope, but i had seen that picture when i was around 7, and i'm 13 now. He may have changed his e-mail after 6 years T_T TT_TT but then again, i kept my same e-mail since i was 4 T_T uh, good luck, hopefully he'll respond :3
