Yes, we know that genetic mutations happen such as extra heads. But humans are breeding them on purpose for these mutations. They have started to breed glowing animals, and cats with shortened legs. These malformities they are breeding for do not always have good effects on the animal. Shortened legs, and dwarfed animals can have heart problems. Glowing animals, they can have diffrent organ problems. I wachted a program called Born Diffrent on animal planet today about mutated animals. They talked about some people who are trying to breed them on purpose for these deformities. Now, there is a man her breeds turtles. Hundereds of thousands of them. (No, I do not know him, this is on the show.) Sometimes a two headed turtle comes up. He does not do this on purpose, but when it does come up he has them for sale (like the other turtles) hoping someone who is curious about this malformites will give them a good home. Now, if you are not breeding these strange mutations not purpose I belive it is ok, and if you treat them well. But if they are pruposly bred for this and have problems I do not think it is ok.
What do you think?

Yes, I have seen this. I saw the same program on Animal Planet "Born Different" about it like 5 days ago. People have been doing this for a while now. I dont mind if animals get this done on accident. But on purpose is just kinda cruel. Sometimes what happens is when an egg starts to multiply *if it does, some animals only have 1 young* sometimes when one of the eggs gets stuck in the multiplication proccess it will form a second head, or less toes, or 5 legs. Anything is possable. Well, the cat breed the "Munchkin" they were created by a mixed breed. I cant remember which ones. Well the glowing fish, clearly mutation. What they do is when the eggs are forming they put them in a nursery, then when the form a little bit more, they insert jellyfish genetics in them. That is clearly a mutation, and I think its wroung. We should just let nature create diffrent breeds. Some people can do damage to these animals that might danger the animal, and themself.

This is not really right. We should all let this form naturally. These malformation WILL PROBABLY have a siriouse efect on an animal.
Natural Malformation:
^This is an example of an effect on unpropper egg separation*natural*
Unnatural malformation: This is an example of a munchkin or magpie long hair cat.
Short Hair Munchkin:
Don't get me wroung, they are cute, but it is an error in car genetics since the first one.
Here is the example of the neon fish with jelly fish jenetics:

The thing with making things glow is because it's easy. all it takes is a little gene replacement and boom, it glows.
I'd recomend everyone does some reading on Wikipedia before any outbursts.
also, if you're so against genetic modification, I'd recomend not eating; because most food now has been modified in some way.
