Vincent wasn't exactly my favirote character of the game, and i've known about this game for awhile. When i first learned about it, there weren't any trailers or anything, just info about when it would be released and what it was about.
I've only just now looked back into it and right now i wouldn't mind playing it. But since i don't have a PS2, the only way i'd get to play it is if my dad allows me to play it on his computer. That's assuming i manage to find a copy. The Final Fantasy games usually take awhile to get to where I live. I mean, Advent Children was out for a full year before i managed to find a copy. I dunno if, regardless of how long it's been out, i'll find it. I've already checked around Gamestop and they don't have it. Which was a shocker because they've always got the game i want. If i had an account on gamefly.com, i could just rent the darn game.

Hey, got a little into for ya alls. Some of you may already know this, but anyways, there were a large number of differences inbetween the Japanise and NA versions of the game, more than they ussaly have. One of the biggest differences is that Japanise version had a online, multi-player mode, that we didn't get due to the lack of popularity of PlayOnline here in NA. The big thing here is that within the multi-player mode is a plot the deals with the past of DeepGround, and gives insight into the DeepGround characters. There is also a new major character introduced, the former leader of DeepGround. Lucky, there are some people out there who have translated the major events, and posted videos of them on youtube. So, here are the links
This one goes to the event translations.

This link is to the videos. Note, they are not translated, so you'll probably want to read through the translation first, or read it as you watch the videos.

Not only that, there is something abouyt playing it on your cell phone with other people two, you can chose RPG mode or normal mode, you can verse others one cell phones to, in the instruction boklet, it shows all the key boared controlls aswel as the controller for ps2, which personaly is awesome^^
I also love that there is info in this game that you thought was true from final fantasy 7 which is actully false, and you get to se vinccent before be became well what he is now, and his story with him and Lucretcia, whioch is also cool, and the videos are all add ones to the final fantasy advent children, well after that, how long after im not sure, id have to play it agian to see if they said^^.
Basicly you don't know the full story of final fantasy 7 till ya beet this game, but there is alot of bonuse scenes that can be unlock in the difficutlyes, and another awesome thing is that there is alot of diffrtent dificultys and so much bonuse missions and so much bonuse info and much more.
Theres really alot to this game.

Well, i don't know about the whole cell phone deal. Doesn't sound too interesting to me. Besides, i don't even have(or want) a cell phone. But i would really like it if you didn't spoil any of the game for those of us that havn't yet gotten to play it. It could be well over a month before i get a chance to play this game. I still have to get a job then before i can get the game i've got to get a PS2. Not sure but my dad said something about possibly getting a PS3. Doubt it though. Heh, im still planning on getting the new World of Warcraft expansion pack before i get anything else though.
But aside from that, there's still the Crisis Core that's got even more story to it. Not sure exactly what the deal on it is but i do know that in that game you play as Zack. Cloud and the others do make an appearance but as far as i know, i don't think you play them.

One suprising thing is that the cell phone game is only being released to NA. I think they're doing it to get a better build up for mobil phone gaming before they release Before Crisis to us. Unfortunatly I don't think it's gonna add that much to the game's plot like the online multiplayer mode did.
Ecliptica, what kinds of bonus scenes are we talking about here, cause I didn't know of any besides the secret ending. How do you get these bonus scenes, and do they add much to the plot?
balto678, I'll be sure not to spoil it for you, though the links that I had earlier to the online multiplayer info shouldn't be that much of a spoiler, but still, there is some info that could spoil it for you.

First thing I need toi ask is, are there diffrent versions of the game? im asking because it would explain alot.
You unlock bonuse scenes by shooting those glass tube things and you have to shoot the ones in the extra missions aswell, they are always hidden in like lots of playces through out the story, some hard to find others just stand out unxpectedly, but there is alot, I don't know if I shoot all them yet, but there is alot of cut scenes and it does help the plot in a way, it's hard to explain....
