I remember seeing this on TV years ago..
What's your opinion on it?

I attempted to read the book but I gave up. I should try again.. and carry on trying to persuade my little sister to get the film in the sale at Woolworths.. teehee..

I love both the book and the movie. I bought the book this year and I got the movie on VHS last year. You can notice that the movie is based on a much longer novel, tough. I think the animation is great for it's time (1978) and whenever I hear Art Garfunkel's "Bright Eyes" I get tears in my eyes, it's such a beautiful song. When I'm home alone, I love to take a seat and put the VHS in the recorder and watch it again.
