I don't have any details, but on Toon Disney, there was a commercial for the All Dogs Go To Heaven TV series! I just had to give the newsflash.

EDIT: And it's on TODAY!

For anyone who's interested, they're showing a marathon of the series today (Sat. Sept. 2) on Toon Disney.

I watched parts of two episodes, and I must say that the animation leaves a lot to be desired. The lines are jumpy in many scenes, there are many coloring errors, and the lip-syncing is very noticably off. The theme song looked to be using animation from the movies, but I'm not sure. The backgrounds actually look really good compared to the character animation, but that is the only thing I can say that I liked about it. ... Well, the voice casting seems to be pretty good, too. I don't think I'll be able to watch it due to how much the animation bothers me, but I want to know if the plot is any good...

Is it the old series from the 90's? Or did they make a new one? (which I would doubt about, because I think I would have heard about that...)

I'm still very surprised, I thought that 20th century fox had let down this franchise just as much as Universal has let down Balto.

I watched the first episode yesterday. Charlie's and Carface's fur coloring are way off. And the lip-synching was weird. They could've done better. And I think they used the same actors for the series that they used for the movies. And yes, the clips on the theme song are from the movies. I don't think they are trying to ruin classic movies. I think that since they did pretty well, they wanted to give the fans a chance to see their favorite characters in different adventures...

I watched a few episodes and I don't really care for 'em. I'm just glad they based them off of the sequel and not the first.
