Ok, so I've been practicing with Paint Shop Pro X and it seems to be working but I'd love everyones opinion on these two pics...

Proportion wise, your characters are perfect. They could use more detail in the fur, but the shading is in all the right spots.

The background seems flat; needs more depth like darker shading in the far off sky (not sure how to explain it) But otherwise great work!

I wish I had a useful CG program. MS Paint sucks.

UK. You are asking for criticizum (sp?) and here I bring it. I am not saying I would be any better than you, but here it is. Yes, indeed, it looks better, yet I see to much reseblance. I am sorry, but I am one to NEVER use one picture of a charrie for another charrie.

Yes, once I did the picture of Delilah with a different color pelt, but it was still Delilah. I really do disapprove of that myself. I can't stand when someone uses one charrie base as another charrie.

And your backrounds, they look nice, yet so very much the same. They seem blane (sp?). I dont mean to be heartless, or anything, but they do. To much alikeness. Work on different backrounds alittle but otherwise it is good. =D

Yippee, thankies maya, I'm still getting to grips with doing backgrounds, I dunno how to create grass :? but I'm hoping to get Photoshop and a tablet fairly soon so that should help.

I' not sure quite what you mean about using one pic of a charrie for another one...if ya mean coz they're both night time pics that's because I love night time pics...I dunno why though....
