Kiara and Alue

Balto and Simba were just overprotective not bossy,and Nala and Jenna were just protective of Aleu and Kiara,while they allowed them personal freedom.

Kiara also told Simba there wasn't any difference between the Pridelanders,and Outlanders.

I think Aleu is a really bad wolf version Kiara, as CatWhoHas14Tails has said a lot, they were kinda too similar if ya know what I mean.

Those themes are quite the same but both films are still very different.

I don't know about Kiara and Aleu being the same. I just don't see it O.o Without offence because I like them both, they're both alittle odd... but in different ways.

Kiara seemed more ditzy, overly happy, pure but headstrong

Aleu was more rebelious, teen angsty, naive...

Yeah. I think SP came out before WQ, so Aleu probably was just copied off of Kiara instead of given her OWN personality.

I agree. I have always watched all of the Lion King and Balto movies, and I have always noticed the similarities between the two movies. If I knew any better I'd say that Disney and Universal are working together with some movies. Lol

Balto 2 also had,Aniu(Aleu's grandmother) who appeared in many spiritual forms....Lion King 2 just had Mufasa(Kiara's grandfather) appear in spiritual lion form.

I think they are both very self-confident. And they've their own will. :mrgreen:

If I have to make decision I wouldn't know...vote for Kiara or for Aleu? I like them both.

Yes, they are very similar. I've stated this once before but I will again XD I personally think that Aleu was a knock-off of Kiara, even if WQ may have been in production by the time TLK 2 was released. Two years is plenty of time to develop and keep a character (which plenty of time to change, I might add) But here are some extreme similarities and differences of the two.

Similarities:
-Were born rambunctious.
-Had overprotective fathers.
-Were giddy.
-Were destined to become leader.
-Suddenly "became serious" at the very end of the movie.
-Threw extreme fits when something went wrong and ran away.
-Had babysitters.
-Had practically no (known) relationships with their mothers.
-Disobeyed their fathers on more than one occasion.
-Both were depicted as "beautiful"
-Both whined about something on more than one occasion.
-Both had annoying voices (well, TO ME they did)
-Their grandparents had faith in them about something.

(there are alot more similarities, that I've yet to think of)

Differences:
-One was a wolf, the other was a lion.
-Kiara had a love interest.
-Aleu had friends. (kiara may have had friends, but there were none we knew about.)
-Aleu had a problem with her father "babying" her, Kiara had a problem with her father being too strict.

Not very many differences are there? Now, I really don't like either of them. But if I had to choose, I'd like Kiara over Aleu because at least her character was original (at the time).
