I don't understand. Can you explain more clearly, or show an example?

I know what they mean. I'm on one of those sites too. Basically, when you have enough member points, there's a link provided by the site that allows you to "purchase" member titles, how your username appears, etc. Each different add-on costs a different amount of member points. You have to earn more in order to get more add-ons.

EDIT: I don't think this is such a good idea...member points show how capable a member is and how important they are. If you spend those points on decoration, then it's a waste of something good. Plus, it might be difficult to install this kind of feature.

Well, of course it would be cool...but it would also confuse people into thinking that they're mods. Also, people could very easily change their member titles to fit those of the mods...I just think it would be difficult and confusing.

I'm not so sure that pushing people to post messages is a good thing. This could bring more spams than ever. So I would say no.

I agree, good point. It would be neat, though I think it would be difficult to add, and more people would just be wasting time by making useless posts to get more points.

Well it sounds good but like Kari said, it could be difficult to set-up and people could get confused between mods and members, and like Steet said, it could force people to spam just so they can get an add-on they want, sounds good on the surface but realistically not so good when you think it through more.

Ya i agree with steet.For more spamming and it cost money.This is the things you guys dont understand it costs money to run a site and adding more things on the site will just bump the cost higher.Not being rude just saying.Ok ill shut up sorry lol.

Err no, in this case it cost time, not money. But you could say the number of visitors is proportional to the cost, because it loads the server.
