I know there are a lot of horse people out there. I happen to be one of them.
I don't own a horse But, I do plan on getting one eventually). Until then, I'm a Professional Groom. What is that you might ask?
Well, when some rich, important person goes to a show, they are not expected to care for their own animal (heaven forbid they get their boots dirty ) so, I groom it, tack it up, warm up, then clean out the trailer while the horse and owner are performing, then when all is done, I cool down the animal, untack it, full groom, and then feed it. Basically, I get all the ameneties of a horse except riding it (when I want to, anyways). The only downside to being a groom is being a lacky for some spoiled brat in josphers and a helmet. Ah, what one wouldn't go through for the love of a horse.
What about any of you? Share your horse experiences here! Share your knowledge and possibly pics of your own horse! Tell me what you know!
I'll start off with a little tidbit: my favorite horse breed is the Arabian.

I don't own a horse either , but I'd love to have a Freisian horse.
My mums best friend Rosie owns a few horses as she owns a farm, she has Edward(eddy) a chestnut, Christie a grey, Oliver(ollie) a big bay and Gemma a bay.
Gemma used to be my mums horse coz she bred them but she had to sell them and Gemma went to her best friend, Gemma is 25 years old now.
I'll get some photos next time we visit.

Well, when I was seven I kept asking for riding lessons, so I learned to ride. I had always loved horses. They were just so plain doggone beautiful. So after a bit my dad bought a black Walking gelding named Ratt. So he liked Ratt so he got a sorrel Walking gelding named Rio. So he liked Ratt and Rio so much he decided he'd make a business out of raising Walking colts and selling them. So that's what's going on now. Currently my dad has three colts: two yearling studs and one suckling filly. Yeah, my dad probably never realized how much he loved horses until he got Ratt and Rio.

My mom and I are also questing for a horse farm^^ I don't own one either, but I do agree with you; I love to watch them move. Especially gallop.

Ponies...the only equine that has ever thrown me off its back.
His name was Neeno. A small 13 h.h pinto gelding who had the attitude of a stallion. I was riding him around and he decided to march through the pond (which was 40 ft. deep). Once he realised we were going to drown, he jumped out of the pond and over the bank (about 6 feet...and me without a saddle or bridle) After he cleared the hedges, he decided it was time to get rid of me. He bucked and fell of a horse for the first time, even it was only a pony. Naturally, I re-mounted, he got spooked by a roll of fencing and bucked again, but this time I bailed.
Crazy pony

Oh, my. Rose looks just like one of the horses up for adoption in my Adopt a mustang Competition.
Very cool photo. English rider, eh? I tried English riding before. Man, was that uncomfortable I prefer Western saddles or Australian saddles, but bareback works just fine, too. When I actually get some pics of me riding something (anything!) I'll post it. I do have a pic of my father petting the famous racehorse, Kelso. Perhaps I'll upload that...

Tell me about it, you have to remember so much on your position in English. Heels down, toes forward, thumbs towards the ears, short reins and long reins, straight back, opened shoulders... etc.... And it's Rosie. xD She's a pony and in front of me is Spider, and behind me is my cousin who I ride with, Annie on the Shetland pony Peanuts.
