Okay...I might get crucified for this, by the fan artists of Balto Source, but I am going to post it anyway.

Some time ago, before I became a member of Balto Source, a drawing was circulating around which someone had found somewhere on the internet. The person who claims to have found it refused to divulge WHERE he found it, because he wanted to keep it for himself. I have since been unable to locate the original artist, or the drawing anywhere on the internet. And I cannot make out the name from the signature. Maybe someone here knows. But I would love to know who did it, so I could credit him (or her), and ask permission to use it.

It is a color drawing, in cartoon style (in fact, in a style very similar to the Balto cartoons), of a dog which looks a heck of a lot like the real Togo. And I thought it should represent him. No one else had thought of that. But, when I suggested that to some friends (who had seen real pics of Togo), they found themselves in complete agreement!

Anyone have any idea who the artist is, or where the drawing may be found? And what do you think? Doesn't this look like ol' Togo? (Real shot below)



Now...PLEASE DON'T get nasty about this. I am just pointing this out, and hope to do what I can to find the actual artist! It's an EXCELLENT drawing, and as close as possible to what I imagine Togo would have looked like in the cartoon Balto universe.

Woah.........That's scary.........The signature looks like a big 'I', but I'm not sure.......I've never seen it before.......

Hm.......I don't think it was purposley made to look like Togo, but again, I've never seen this picture......But, you're right, Togo does have similarities to the picture.......

Oh yeah, I agree with that. It's just that the similarity is striking. And, like I said, I hope someone is familiar with this drawing and especially the artist, so I can contact him or her and follow-up.

That looks awfully close to the real Togo, wow, I have no idea who did that pic or where it came from but I'd love to know if they have others.

The cartoon Togo nearly reminds me of Balto,I'm not saying that he does,I'm saying that he almost does,please don't take what I'm saying the wrong way.

Look at the face markings. Just like Togo's. =D That looks alot like Togo but I still think cartoon Balto looks more like Togo.

Yes, that's an awesome drawing. Unfortunately I have no idea who created it, I don't see who has the same style or signature.

Gah!! I saw that picture a year ago, but I can't remember where or who drew it. ><
