I'm currently working hard on my other fic, Hope: A Father and Daughter Tale but I was just listening to that Sunblock song, I'll Be Ready, and it hit me! It's about a champion dog sled racer, Enrique. He's snooty and disrespectful. But one day, while racing, he has an accident. Everybody was unsure he would live, let alone race again. This accident really took a toll onto Enrique and he began to take the beauty of life into his stride. He changed his ways and became very respected, and even got himself a non-snooty girl. But once he learned his lesson, it was too late to enjoy the bounty of life in racing, or will he once again experience that sting on his face and thrill of racing in a whole new perspective? You'll see.....
