One day at a restaurant, I was holding a picture of Balto and admiring him. A kid who looked to be about 12 came to me and asked me what I was looking at. Self-conscious, I turned the picture away from him. "How old are you?" I asked him. "11." he said. And then I showed him the picture. "This is Balto." I said. He looked at it with a freaked-out look and ran away screaming in terror.

I don't understand why. :?:

Err...what does that title mean?
Maybe he was scared because he thought you were admiring a photo of someone and not of an animal...

It means "Are you afraid of Balto?"
This kid was appearently mortified by the appearance of Balto. Some how it must have struck a nerv. After all, Balto is part wolf.

Not to mention that some people who have slept in camping resorts had curled up in sheer terror from hearing wolf howls. They couldn't have possibly been able to stay dry.

Well hey you gotta feel sorry for lots of those tourists out there who know nothing like Wolves are actually more afraid of people and dont store any food in a car or a bear will tear your car open.

Mmm, Balto looks all but nasty for a wolf...How would he have reacted if it was a wolf from Wolf's Rain then?

What sort of pose was Balto in on that picture? I'm just curious. If it was him smiling or looking sad that would be just funny.

That'd be the moment when Balto is just about to growl but how can a kid be afraid of something like that the little cookie.
