recently many horrible topics mianly pornographic material, has been posted in the roleplay area, it is becoming a big problem, myself and many regualr roleplayers are getting very angry and upset, sometimes two or three a day pop up, I belive it may be the same person, but something needs too be done, all the mods can do is ban the person and lock the topic but something mor emust be done, before people start leaving BS, because of it.

I know I've seen such things. This is getting annoying and of course not kid friendly as Roxas said above. Something must be done to prevent such things happening again.

They have seen this, at least I know Dark Wolf has and nothing has been done, there can be no exuses, something must be done.

Yes, I've noticed this too. I couldn't lock the topics, but I did ban some of the people who were posting it. I really don't think it's the same person...it really just seems like a spam robot. No one in their right mind would post pornographic links in a Balto forum unless they only had intentions of spamming.
I've already talked to Dark_Wolf about this. She said that she'll lock all the topics, but that's really all she can do. I guess we just have to keep banning the users and locking the topic if anymore show up.

Spam robots, I have a few ways to prevent this but I'll have to do it when I have some free time.
No, IP banning won't work on such robots because they use proxys (so they change their IP each time)
The only way to prevent them is to prevent them from registering.
