Scar was going to kill Nala's dad because he wanted to mate with Sarafina.Her dad became the leader of a small pride.

Scar can't be Nala's father,because in the LK Broadway version,Scar tries to mate with her.

Well concidering the workings of a real pride of lions then Mufasa would be Nalas father, I know how nasty that sounds but in actual prides the pride male mates with all the females until he's overthrown or dies.

My thought on the subject!!! Except that would mean Simba and Nala would be cousins...

Maybe Sarafina left nala's father ran away to another pride and stayed there and then had Nala,

I think that Muafasa kicked Nala's dad out of the Pride, because HE's King!  But it IS a Disney vid; they don't usually make the films as realistic as possible. I mean...lions don't talk, make friends with prey(meercats, warthogs or hornbills) or plot to kill nephews!

well they do follow nature pretty well. a while ago i watched a documentary on lions, and lions do really do drive off other lions (scar) and the lions run away and when they've grown up the come back (to the same pride) and fight for the position as king
