i don't have WoC on dvd or video, so can someone please tell me who they are (dipsy and mel).

Well, she's just there for comic relief anyway. Even I thought she had a funny moment or two. (IE. Mel: I think I feel a migrane coming on... Dipsy: I think I'll join you.) But I think she's a better character than Stella, that's for sure.

I agree. Dipsy and Mel seemed to only be there for comic relief and to add that sense of "newness" to new fans of the Balto franschise.

I thought Dipsy was an "OK" character, but she really wasn't that interesting. Sure, she found out about the plans for the match race against the bush plane for the sled dogs, but other than stealing and eating beef jerky, she wasn't that interesting.

Mel, on the other hand, was purely annoying. He panics way too much, thinks too negatively, and I think he suffers from some sort of ADD or ADHD or something. (Mel needs his ritalin. :lol: )

And to finish off: Every character in WoC was better than Stella. (Yep, even the badly animated bears and the mob-boss moose. Dannnnng.)

Well, I found Dipsy slightly funny, but mostly annoying. So, lets imagine we delete those "unecissary" characters for just a sec, what happens? Well, for one we wouldn't be talking here, for 2 most of the cool characters wouldn't have had a chance in the film

Dipsy is the better one out of the two. Not exactly attractive, but funny and cute. I kinda like how the movie set her up, eating everything she can get her paws on, Lol!

She's not a complete charecter, but I think her role is to give the viewers a little relaxment, and a little humor.

Yes, Dipsy was put there as a comic relief, the animators didn't make her for no reason. As for annoying, at some parts yes.

mel was more annyoing then dipsy ... Dipsy was funny so noone can usaly deniy her when they first see the movie . Stella was the worst ...
She was mean to boris when he tried to tell her the truth.
