cause it's a cartoon, and the anamators, maybe, wanted, to put balto in a wolf/husky, it's just a cartoon,, but they know, it was a real story, lol i think...lol

in the movie they twisted up the story so i quess they also twisted up looks to.  Steele look more like the REAL Balto.

in the real Balto wasn't even a wolf, and he started out as once of the dogs in the very back of the sled, and in real life he had an owner/trainer dude
