Last summer the skin on my toes broke out. It happened this summer too. Today the pain became whorse when he bended my right big toe. I wetted a paper towel and put lotion on in and wrapped my toe in it, and it feels fine, no matter how much I bend it. When I walked from the bathroom to the kitchen to get a paper towl, I hopped on my left foot. Should I go to a skin doctor?

I might ask my mom if she thinks I'll need to. Bad eyes, bad skin, what will happen next? tib_wolf, you'd hate to be in my skin.

Yeah it does happen during the summer and I'm ten now.
Kari, it's probably not an allergy, my skin cracks! Anyway, I rarely go outside without shoes except when it's rained, so that might rule out plant allergy.
Yeah, it's probably just dry skin, I'll keep up with the lotion.

yeah see I used to never have my shoes off.. It just felt nice and cozy but now around the house I will occasionaly wear my shoes.. Wearing shoes a lot brought about the dry skin problem I mentioned and I'm almost positive that's your problem. You've got to let your skin breathe, however stupid that sounds, but it's true.

Yeah Tuesday Night the lotion stung, I do have some money, I'll buy some powder next time we got to Rite-Aid.
Thanks for all your help, people!

yep it did for me... I just put a little bit of that foot powder stuff for like... "Maybe" a week and never had a problem again... also letting your feet breathe like I said before helped a lot and probably helped in the prevention of it happening again.

DarkHusky-lone wrote: Yeah and refrain from scratching if they are itchy, and let them BREATHE!!!!!!!!!! lol they get all sweaty and if they dont breathe, they itch more! so yes putting proper lotion/powder and letting them breathe should help.
It used to itch, so I was afraid to scratch it because it would hurt. It's not sweaty no matter what.
Just to say this, the skin cracks, if you haven't figured it out yet.
