Too give him mainly a domiante look, basically its the reason nobdoy challenged him apart from Balto, though tehy hated him tehy followed his orders and then talked bad behind his back, they were too afraid.

Steele had brain, he had enough sense too scratch all the trees so balto got lost, but he definetly did have less brains then say balto.

I think Steele was so much bigger because he was the big, tough, 'don't mess with me!' kinda guy, you can see it the way he walks around and the way he thinks Jenna will just 'go out' with him eventually and at his sheer frustration when Balto finally stood up to him, he was shocked and angered by it like he was thinking "WTF?...I'm the big boss he should be cowaring away from me not arguing with me!", infact he said 'Who do you think you are?' when Balto came to get the medicine, basically he was the big bully...all full of himself and on top of the world while everyone was doing exactly as he said but turned into the coward he is when everyone realises he's just a liar and a bully.

What would a small Steele be? He was strong and carried weight.

That's what I was about to bring up. He's a malamute. Ive never seen one so im not sure just what their size is. But i think a malamute is bigger than the husky. At least that's what i've thought since Steele's bigger than Balto and Jenna. And we all (hopefully) know their both huskies.

Steele was bigger, because he is the 'bad guy.' Not a malamute, since malamutes cannot have blue eyes. =P He is a big husky, and that's all. ^^

Well then, in balto's case, half huskie. Ive no idea why a malamute can't have blue eyes. Though it would be wierd to see a dog with blue eyes. I know all about alleles, traits, dominent and recessive genes and things like that but I havn't really looked up on malamutes too much. Ive never checked but I do believe Steele, is a malamute.
Well, it was never said so it's pointless to argue. Course some of Steele's size and muscle would be because he's a lead sled dog. Kinda like Kodi. Though the muscle wasn't so visible on him.

If Steele woudn`t be so big no one would have anxious of him.
