That's actually thought, by most, to be a female pup. She was never given a name officially. However, in her art and fan fiction, CatWhoHas14Tails has named her "Kiona", and that is what a lot of people here on BS know her as.

True about Aleu (I think they did that to try and further blend her appearance with that of Balto...and make her seem more, I don't know...wild maybe). But if you look at the one red-faced pup, and look closely at her eyes, the eyelashes (a human trait...as are the eyebrows on all the dogs...LOL) are longer than, say, on Kodi or the adult male dogs. It's a small thing, but I think that was their way of making her appear female...

Now that one is seen by pretty much everyone as a guy. But again, no official name. He was named "Dakota" here...again, I think by CatWhoHas14Tails (and that is how everyone here has come to know him).

It isn't. Officially, he has no name. Nor does the other pup. The writers never assigned names to those two.

Well, I'd chalk it up either to sloppiness, or perhaps unfinished business. Perhaps they had originally INTENDED to do more sequels...until they saw that the profits weren't panning out the way they'd hoped. Certainly it would have been nice to see more sequels (or perhaps even a televised mini-series on cable) that focused more on the other pups, as well as stuff that happened before Balto 1, and after Balto 3.
But there are already those here who feel that for them to have done more sequels only would have hurt the existing material. (Some feel that Balto 2 did that anyway...there are even some who feel Balto 3 did that...which I cannot understand, and don't agree with).
Of course, they left plenty of other secondary and tertiary characters unnamed and poorly-used too. Look at the two wheel dogs on Kirby's team in Balto 3. They never are given names or any lines. Perhaps doing so would only have weighed down the script more, but it is still a sloppy bit of work.

it looks like a male but some people make names for it, mean like catwhohas14tails named it kiona and other named it for some reason
it could be a mixed gene of baalto and jenna, well i think it a female
i don't know why, but it's other people's idea what to do with the pup, well i named it karien, aleu is a female, her father had ruffed eyebrows her mother didn't have ruffed eyebrows, so karien hs her face mixed with (well red is all over her face) and besides good topic!
