Folks, ever since I came to this site, and these forums, my desire has been to HELP, to socialize, and to make friends. Apart from one incident which has now been happily resolved by the particular parties (and which we do not need to go into), I have since had nothing but positive interaction with practically everyone here, which I am very happy about.
However, I have been having a nagging little problem with one member (and I won't get into who...saying who won't solve anything). That member is holding a grudge over the aforementioned issue, and has engaged in a continual game of harrassment by private message. I have brought this to the attention of Steet and some of the other moderators, and have received some help and kind words on it.
However, today it took an ugly turn. Now this person has started PMing other members about this thread:

The tail end of that thread involved a disagreement over the validity of statements made, as fact, in the book "Amazing Stories". It led to my asking the originator of the thread to drop the issue, and Whitewolf, a moderator, locking it (at the time, I did not having locking privleges as a new moderator...something Steet resolved very quickly and efficiently).
Today, between the hours of 4:24 and 4:35 P.M. local time (for me), I received five PMs...most of them less than a minute apart, and each referring to the exact same post I made in that thread (and each using the same quote). One of them was from my tormentor. And it is clear what is happening here. That tormentor is PMing people trying to get them riled up over what should be a DEAD issue, and now trying to look for any excuse to get people upset with me.
I hesitated to point this out. However, I'm REALLY offended, and upset. Friends, I've been NOTHING but friendly and sociable with you all since getting involved in moderating this True History board. I've engaged in great role-play with some of you in the Balto Role-Play board...I've talked very sociably in the shoutbox, and I've given freely and happily of my time and resouces to make historical material on the actual Great Serum Run available to you all, with no expectation of recompense, and no claim of proprietorship. Because I've ENJOYED doing so.
But this is starting to sour my experience. And something MUST be done. I will not go into details, other than to point out that you may be hearing about it by PM (or e-mail) from my tormentor. I ask that the moderators I've PMed and e-mailed about this, and Steet himself, take action to put a stop to this. Thanks.
