Maybe lots of fans like her because of one or more of these facts:
- She's part wolf
- She looks like a wolf (just like Daddykins)
- She's the leader of her own wolf pack (that takes guts)
- She got her own movie (Even though the title says "Balto")
- She has an interesting personality
- She's a likeable character
or
-She's just awesome!
Is it just me, or could Aleu be more interesting than Kodi? 
I actually like all of the pups the same (points at sig) . . . . .

She is an awesome character and a very beautiful wolf indeed she has spunk like her mother and I have to say I have the same relationship towards my dad same as she does...I love my dad but he worries to MUCH...

That father-daughter relationship seems very common to me (not just in real life, but also in sequels like in TLK2).
She does seem spunky, but would Jenna (mainly original Balto one) be considered as spunky?

I know that father-daughter relationship is a hard one to pass it's almost in every family...and I would call Jenna spunky she was tough but also beautiful and kind...and she really stood up for Balto in front of Steele and all so that takes spunk

Aleu is definitely not my favorite character, she simply gets too annoying, and too much screen time IMO. I think she doesn't look much like her parents, even Balto. Yet, she's not really the reason that WQ was not very good to me. Even if we don't see Kodi much as her, I think his character was much more researched and complete than her.

I really can safely say that I strongly dislike Aleu. To me she is way to childish for an "adult", her voice is very annoying, and just her whole attitude is annoying. She was the basic stock character, heros daughter. Sorry, but me no likee.

Here's my question: Where did she get the whole "correcting people's grammar" habit from? She did that about two times in the film, but I never understood that about her . . . . Was that from Jenna? Balto doesn't seem like the type to do that!
I just like Aleu because she's a cool character. Sure, she gets slightly annoying, but she's special!  And special is a good thing!

I'm not sure about that one. It would be nice though, but I think that Aleu sequels are better off as fanfictions. It would be nice to see Aleu animated again, but not as the lead in a Balto sequel again.

Yeah, that would be nice. She was in WoC (no speaking parts though), but that doesn't count . . . .
