I'm not exactly sure of the plot-line for this movie, so far all I've seen is dancing penguins but I'm still going to go watch it when it comes out just to see what it's all about and because it looks sooo funny.
Here's a trailer I found: http://media.putfile.com/pinguinsingt

Unsure, all the trailers just say 2006 so I guess they have'nt released an actual date yet...unless I missed one of course.

Well, when I first heard of the film, I thought "Yeah, that's gonna be a cute movie! The Penguins look so real and cuddly!" *goes off to hug a fuzzy penguin*
But trailers for movies can be so deceiving. All it shows is dancing penguins and meager comedy. Cute, but there's more to it than that.
I recently read a picture book that tells the story of the movie (so I know what happens, but I still want to see it), and to me, it's a story that we've all seen many, many times before: Penguins. They're the birds of the Arctic and to find a life-long mate, they have to court each other with their songs. But what if you were born with tap-dancing feet and a horrible singing voice? How in the world can you survive?
Yeah. That's the basics. Here's an easier way to describe it:
"Trumpet of the Swan" + Tap-dancing + any other movie that has someone that is different trying to live like everyone else = Happy Feet
That's pretty much it. But dang, it still looks so cute and cuddly!

I watched it; I must say, probably the best animated movie since Finding Nemo. I loved it. I'm even planning on buying the soundtrack and the DVD when it comes out.
I already watched it 2 times, heh.
