Title: Somebody Want's You

Summary: Aleu is taken in by a human named Jim. At first she thinks she's found a loving home, but then the traning begins. Aleu, not knowing what she was being trained to do was bad, just went along with it, letting it consume her, making her do things she wished she could undo. It puts her up against the dogs she cares most about.
Note: This fanfic is an alternate WQ and is strongly controvercial. If you don't like character being 'out of character' DON'T READ IT! If you are a die-hard Aleu fan, don't read.

As of right now, I only have the first chapter typed. I'm working on typing the second, too. For now, here's the first chapter. Hope ya all like it!
Chapter 1
Aleu watched sadly as all her brothers and sisters were taken away by humans. They squelled in what she could only guess was joy. She watched as her last sibling was taken out of the box by a small human child.
She was about to give up all hope of getting a human of her own when a young man with black messy hair walked over. He leaned down and gently picked up Aleu, checking her over. Gently, he pried open her small jaws, examinating the teeth. He then felt her muscles.
"Nice and strong," he said. He looked up and saw Balto and Jenna, who were standing near the box. The young man laughed. "Looks like you take after your father, don't you?" he asked Aleu.
The young pup yipped in joy. She wagged her tail and licked the young man. He laughed and rubbed Aleu's ears, making her yip happier.
"You're coming home with me," the young man said.
Aleu looked to her mother and father. Jenna had tears rolling down her muzzle. Balto nuzzled her and looked into Aleu's eyes.
"I love you Aleu," he told her as the young man turned to walk away.
Aleu waved to her parents as her new human walked down the street with her in his arms. She gazed up at him with her bright blue eyes. He looked down at her and smiled.
"You'll do very good," he said.
Aleu cocked her head and looked up at the young man. She didn't understand what he had just said, but she liked the sound of his voice.
As he walked inot his house, Aleu started to bark happily. She was finally home. The young man set Aleu down and walked into his bedroom. When he came out, he had a collar in his hands. Bending down, he put it on her.
The pup looked up at her new owner with her eyes full of uncertianty. She didn't like the feeling of the stange piece of leather around her neck. The scent of other dogs that had worn the color came to her. A pat of her head washed away all of her uncertainties, though.
Soon a knock at the front door was heard. Aleu raised her hackles and growled savagely. The young man laughed and walked over to the door, opening it to reveal a young woman. Her hair was so light it was almost white. All of her clothing were darker shades.
"About time, Jim," she said, walking into the house, giving the young man a hug.
The young man, Jim, laughed. "Shut up, Susan."
Susan smiled and then spotted Aleu. "I see you got another one," she said, picking Aleu up and looked her over like Jim had done.
Jim nodded. "This one has wolf in her, though. She'll do great."
The blonde wonman put Aleu back down. "How do you know that?'
"Balto's her father."
Susan rolled her eyes slightly. "Why didn't you just take Balto? We wouldn't have to wait for him to get older."
Jim pondered his friend's question. "This one is young. She'll learn quickly and should be ready in about a year."
"You better hope so. Ryan doesn't want to wait any longer," Susan said, her voice quickly losing it's warmth.
Aleu growled. She was starting to dislike Susan very quickly. There was something about her that Aleu found unsettling. She looked to Jim. The fact that he was calm seemed to help Aleu a little. But what if he was wrong? she thought.
"You better not talk like that around the pup," Jim told Susan. "You don't want her to bite."
Susan laughed. "We wouldn't want that to happen, huh?"
Aleu growled and walked over to the door, scratching at it, telling Jim she wanted out. Jim smiled and opened the door for her. "Don't wander to far, okay pup?"
The young wolf/dog ran out the door and down the street, glad to be away from Susan. Aleu glanced around, looking for Balto and Jenna. It didn't take her long to find Balto.
"Hi Papa," she barked, running up to him.
Balto jumped a little. "Aleu! What are you doing?"
"My new human let me out for a while."
The older wolf/dog nuzzled the young one. "Why don't we find your mother?"
Aleu nodded. "That was what I was going to do."
The father and daughter walked down the street together. When they reached Jenna's house, Balto let out a howl. He and Aleu walked over to the door of the house, expecting Jenna to come from inside. After a few moments, the turned to go.
"Hey you two," Jenna said, coming out from the shed.
"What were you doing in there mom?" Aleu asked.
They husky sighed. "Just... remembering."
Aleu cocked her head, but didn't say anything. Instead, she walked over and licked her mother. When she backed up, she showed off her collar.
"See what my human gave me?" she said, her voice full of pride.
Jenna laughed. "I see. It looks like you got a wonderful owner."
Balto walked over to his mate and whispered something inot her ear. Her eyes widdened a little, but she didn't do anything else.
"What are you telling Mom, Papa?" Aleu questioned.
Aleu raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything more on the subject. She gazed around and sat down. The thought of heading home came to her, but she wanted to be sure Susan was gone. The vibe she gave off worried Aleu for some reason.
Soon, the young wolf/dog and her parents got up to wander around the town. They were about to go into the boiler toon when Jenna saw Steele. She growled and turned toward the beach. Balto's boat was always a nice place to rest.
When they got there, Aleu went straight into the shallows. She smiled, remembering how just yesterday all of her siblings had been playing on that very beach. Then she sighed, knowing that they'd never all be together on the beach again.
"Aleu dear," Jenna said, looking toward the sky, "it's starting to get dark."
Aleu looked upwards, too. "I'll see you both tomorrow," she said, walking up to both her parents and licking them. "Good night."
"Good night Aleu," Balto and Jenna both said in unison. They watched as their daughter turned and headed home. Jenna let a few tears fall. She was both happy and sad that Aleu found a human. She had known it might have been difficult becuase she looked so much life a wolf: even more so than Balto.
Upon returning home, Aleu quickly sniffed around and was relieved to find that Susan had left. Jim was in his bedroon combing his dark hair. Aleu wagged her tail and walked up to him.
"There you are girl," he said, reaching down to pat her. "I was wondering when you'd get back."
The young wolf/dog wagged her tail harder and yipped happily. She was very glad to be with her human without Susan lurking around. She licked his hand as he reached down to pet her again. Her tail still wagging, Aleu walked over to Jim's bed, jumped up, and fell asleep.
Jim laughed as he walked over. "Sleep well, pup. Your training starts tomorrow."
