I don't know, because if its gonna be a game it would be based of historical facts almost like Medal of Honor. Plus the Diptheria spread and antitoxin relay was some of the historical data in the movie. But who knows if Balto was ever made into a game it may be historical and adventure type of game where you can interact with other characters in the movie.

That's a good point, a Balto video game can be educational as well as fun. Maybe gamers would be able to learn more about the historical period, the diptheria epidemic (which I honestly know very litttle about) and perhaps (and this would probably be more fun) how dogsleds are operated and the history of dogsledding. That would make the game worthwhile IMO.

If it's just Balto running around aimlessly trying to collect points, it will be a shallow game indeed and wouldn't really add to the experience of the movie. The movie itself almost plays out like a video game when you think about it, with Balto running around so much.

I didnt vote because I really dont care if they make a Balto game, If they did great. I would buy it in a heart beat, but I seriously dont think it would be a good game. And if they didnt make it, it really wouldnt bug me. What would be cool though is if they made a Sled dog game, that would be fun.

i had actually thought a lot about what a balto video game would be like.

the only thing, (to no offence) it would probably be really boring.

Wow, talk about deja vu. I personaly don't know. It would be very hard to pull off, but if they made one I would buy it.

I voted no. It'd probably be boring; I wouldn't buy it. Plus I don't have any way to play video games. :P

Depends. If they can make it actually good, then I'd say more power to them. If it turns out to be something like those Harry Potter games, no. Now, if a good company like Square or Namco worked on it, I'd like to see what would happen. It'd prove to be quite interesting. ^^

Yah, if they do make one I hope they will go with someone well know, like Suckerpunch, or Naughty Dog.

I really think they should. They should at least make one, and then we'll see how it turns out. I think it would sell great since there have never been one in this franchise, when every other animated film ever released had one...That's not fair. I already said it many times, but it would heavily increase the popularity of the Balto franchise, and just for that it would already be a great thing. Whether it would be good or not, it's difficult to say without anything. I think a 2D platformer would be probably the thing that is the most logical and that suits best to animated films. Remember that all the 3D games based on animated films are awful, when 2D games are often very good : Aladdin, Lion king (MD and SNES), Hercules (PSX)...Even if they don't talk too much about the recent games in that category, the 2D platformers are often pretty nice games on the game boy advance for example, even if they are classical. If you say the contrary, then it means you never really played one.

Suckerpunch is far from being a very known developer, they nearly never made anything besides sly racoon. And naughty dog has lost its main developer Jason rubin, which has lead to not very good games recently (the sequels to jak and the derivative ones)

They should be know they've m,ade somke of the best Platformers for the PS2! Chances if they make A Balto game it'll be a platformer, so why not go with some of the best . Also Insomniac is another good one.
