This little tip keeps everyone safe and sound on any website in the world...don't use your real name as your s/n please. It makes it a much safer place for you to be...and let's face the music, it's freakn' awsome to come up with a fun and original s/n for yerself.

Additionally: As per the rules of the site, keep all s/ns (screennames) PG please! No profanity, lude terms, etc.

Yes, I agree! That's why my signature on my art is kind of unreadable: So no one can impersonate me OR use my name and figure out what it is. Good topic, I hope more people will listen.

Well, I agree but are there people here using their real names as their username? I haven't seen many.
And, I didn't know what S/N means, I have understood when I read the topic but maybe you could replace it by "username" in the topic name?

My screen name has many meanings...most everyone (::cough cough::dingo::cough cough) knows at least 3.

Anyway, I sure hope vain screen names won't become a problem here.

That was funny...yet somewhat disturbing.

I agree with your idea, Mario. I have noticed that some people do have PG-13 or even R usernames, and I hope that those people have been deleted or banned. Not only are the usernames sometimes vulgar, but so are the websites that people post in their profiles.

Steet, is there a way to censor those kinds of words in usernames?

Mario is right, I agree with him, its not really right to have a username that is wrong.

M-hm. I WAS going to use my real name, but changed my mind. Coming up with a username for yourself can be fun!

LMAO! I find this hysterical for this reason. I say something concerning everyone's safety and everyone blows up at me like I just said "I hate all of you stupid losers" Very funny...how that works and all.

I honestly do think that people need to be more careful then they have been in the past, I won't kid anyone with all the younger users there’s no knowing what freaks prowl around the site.
