Hey everyone, you all might recall me as ''Skarrlette'' , who played the ghost white Alphess in Crimson Raven. I may be back to roleplaying but I have written a short story... Happy reading

oxoxoxoxoxo Skarr
Snow fell from the heavens, it seemed so tranquil. Beautiful. Serene . But all was silent. There was not a sound that echoed through the dark forest. Thrre was nobody near. No one at all. But one wolf, who had wandered away from home. Infact so far away from home she had no clue as to where she was as she was trapped within the poisioned thoughts of tainted memories. Memories filled with death, filled with agony and pain that lead to deep wounds and scars that shall never heal.
Silence was all that was , as Black Winter made her way through the snowing forest. The trees where covered in a heavy blanket of snow and seemed to shead so very often as the weight of the snow felt to heavy upon branches. The snow was heel deep but not deep enough to stop her from running if she needed to. The sheer coldness upon the pads of her mitts bit at her and it ached physically as she continued on. There where no winds to make her freeze over, as the trees did a good job in blocking all that misery.
There where winds on the outside of the forest though and they striked with bitterness and perhaps a future death was in the game from the Gods who loved to play, if Black Winter stepped foot out of the forest. This physical pain was nothing. Nothing compared to what she had endured the past several moons. She lost her whole pack to hunters, she lost her sweet pups that where snatched from her by scientists and on top of that she lost her mate to suicide. In the dead of winter.
Why ? All the pain, why?.. She tried so hard to recover by joining another pack to seek putting her wounds in her to rest. But she was only exiled for her sorrow. How the hell was she supposed to deal with her losses? She felt she had lost her soul as the Gods took it away from her playing nasty games on her and getting a good laugh at her when things never just went right for her.
Snow crunched under her toes and she could feel the sting of pain hitting her as frostbite began to kick in . Her pads where frozen solid and she was almost going numb from the pain. She stopped in her tracks as she became distant from her lost thoughts that made her come here. Golden hues looked toward a vast light that seemed to glow ahead of her. Was she dead ? Or was this a light coming from the outside of the dark forest? Who knows, only she shall find out.
Proceeding forth she lifted her left foot first, then her right foot .. Left , right, left right.. Until she came to another brief stop. Her bodice was at a neutral pose, her tassel low in a lazy manner and her cranium was a normal height, not lowered nor raised. She sniffed toward the light that seemed to penetrate its way toward the path where Black Winter stood. Hope was seen within her hues as she had forgotten about her losses. She seemed to lose track of time and where she was as she stood there in silent wonder. Was it the sunlight ? Or was it a funny light of ghosts and spirirts? Lowering her cranium she also lowered her twin peaks as if to have the look of shame.
Raising her cranium once more as well as her sonars keeping them perked forward as if someone or something made her do this. A force she never knew , nor felt before. She could not move her pillars as she seemed to be locked in position. Locked in time and locked in fantasy thoughts. Staring into the light she thought she was a goner now. She thought this was the eternal realm and that she shall meet up with her pack, her pups and Jokan. She will be with them forever and for all eternity.
She wanted to run into the light to seek out her family but just couldnt budge and only fell upon her stomach and lay there looking at it as it was coming closer to her. It seemed to hypnotise her as her hues locked upon the light . Time seemed to of stalled or stopped . She nolonger knew her name nor where she was from but only had one thing in mind. Her family. Her thoughts where to settle upon them that she never took notice of the frost bite settling in all over her bodice as she lay there in the snow. But she felt invincible and nothing could touch her. Where was she? Who was she?
Her breaths seemed to of faded as she became so lost to what she had saw. Jokan in the lead with her babies trampling under his belly and scampering behind him. They seemed to glow , as they approached her laying there. Jokan slowly made his way to her and nudged her with his nares, to get her to stand upon her pillars. Black Winter did as guided too . There where no words, no sound was even heard. Nothing but serene silence. No sound came from the paws that stepped upon the snow. Nothing.
Now fully standing Black winter locked her hues upon her deceased mate then turned her hues away to look at her pups who stood under him and smiled with tails wagging. Jokan nuzzled Black Winter and kissed a few tears away .
Its time to come home Black Winter
She stepped forth and padded toward the light that guided her mate and pups to her .Jokan followed after her then padded along side with her taking her plume within his plume as if to be holding hands but in a wolven way. The pups scampered in between the eternal lovers and Black Winter could not speak yet, as overwheling feeling had entered her.
There was no more fear that lingered within her. There was no more pain, physically nor emotionally. There where no more tears and there where no more hauntings. She gazed gently into her mate's hues and spoke.. in a low whisper.
You came back for me!!!
