I found out I'm not very good at writing a wolf's life with words, since I started to re-read what I had so far, and it sucked lol. So, I'm going to make this, The Lunar Children, a graphic novel. For those of you who don't know what a graphic novel is, it's basically comic book. The winner will have their cover entry be the one on the first comic book. Again, there will be three of these, so the first place winner gets their cover on the first comic then so on and so forth. So, since this is mainly about drawing, I'll make a topic of this on the fan-art area since this is about drawing now, and I will change the deadline to August 20th.

Okay the basic plot line: The humans have taken over most of the forest that nine wolf packs live in. Now that the forest is slowly decreasing, the wolf packs are at war with eachother over the little terrirtory, and prey, that is left. Lunitone, an orphaned wolf pup, grows up with a rogue wolf named Reynald, who teaches her everything she needs to know. When Reynald dies, Lunitone looks for a wolf pack. She finds one and the leader, first place winner, tells Lunitone about the war. Lunitone decides to stop the war by making her own wolf pack and recruiting the defeating the other wolf packs. Once that goal is complete, she plans on leading her pack to the untouchable forest; in other words, Paradise, along with her friends, (first, second,a dn third place winner).



If you want to enter your character in the comics, then, I know this is the most common thing but it's unfair just to pick the first three people, draw a book cover (just the front) for the book. The one's who win 1st 2nd and 3rd place will be in the comics. The deadline will be August 20, 2006. Thanks. (by the way, if you want to, you may add your character into the book cover too!)


The Main Characters:

(My character, drawing of her can be found in my art gallery, Ramoth) Lunitone- A She-wolf who lost her family at eight weeks old and was taken in by an old wolf named Reynald. She is a tan wolf with a brown splotch on her chest. Her left eye is grey and blind with two scars and her right eye is red and yellow. She has two scars on her muzzle and two scars on each cheek that both go horizontal and vertical.

Reynald- A ten year old wolf who took Lunitone in when her family was killed by wolverines. His fur is completly gray and his right eye has a long scar over it, closing his eye shut. His other eye is green. This guy is a veteran at fighting and has become a rogu wolf and trains Lunitone how to live on her own.

Rimkia- One of Lunitone's brothers. A tan wolf with a brown tipped tail, his name means 'trickster.' His right eye is a blueish redish color and the other is a normal wolf eye, completly yellow except for the pupil. Wolverines killed him.

Tumak- The last of Lunitone's brothers. He's a brown wolf with tan tipped ears. Eyes are brown and his name means 'sniffer.' Also killed by wolverines.

Tilania- Lunitone's mother. A pretty tan wolf with blueish redish eyes. Was killed by the wolverines.

Jukula- Lunitone's father. A brown wolf with yellow eyes. He was shot by a hunter before the others in his family were killed, other than Lunitone.

Radikin- Two years older than Lunitone, this wolf is all about brute force to kill his enemies, human or not. He is a brown and pale wolf with a left blue eye and right brown eye. He is the leader of the pack Lunitone meets with, and he is one of the few survivors of the old pack.


There's the character list, and this is going to end up to be a series, so if your character doesn't show up in the first one, it'll show up in the second one. Oh, and you only need to make a book cover for the FIRST book. Good Luck to evryone!
