New Beginnings tells the story of what happens to Balto and Jenna's four other pups and second litter. Please be honest with this story. This fiction was inspired by Cat's 'Three Tales' and is in the same format but I am NOT copying off her!

CHAPTER ONE -
DINGO'S STORY
The first memory I had was of the Nome coastline. I couldn't remember anything else before that time and I knew my siblings didn't know as much either. The Nome coastline was a beautiful place, it was where I speant most of the period of puppyhood when I lived with my mother, Jenna; and my father, Balto. Mom was a pure-bred husky, she was red and cream in colour, she was no sled dog but did used to take her girl, Rosie; around the town on her sled. Her eyes were a firey-orange, which was odd because all my sisters- Aleu, Saba and Yukon - had blue eyes, except for Yukon who had brown eyes. My two other brothers, Denali and Kodiak; were my best friends. I didn't get along with my sisters, maybe except for my twin Saba; I was always fighting with Yukon but Aleu was the one who always got into fights. It was because of her wolf side which really did make her the odd one out but, unlike Denali or Kodi; I quite enjoyed to her howl but it sometimes was torture and Mom or Dad had to tell her to stop. The first memory involved Aleu being Dad's little girl again, she had jumped on his head and was riding him like a horse around the beach while me and the others ran after them. Aleu eventually jumped off and ran on ahead and we ran after her but Kodi was too slow and stayed behind to run with Dad. We always played in the woods but Kodi kept getting into trouble around the waterfall but Dad helped him out.
The adoption day was a very big change for me, Saba, Aleu, Yukon, Denali and Kodi. Aleu was howling, as usual; and we were holding our ears in pain. "Aleu, honey." Mom finally said "Please don't howl like that!" Denali sighed with relief, he then stared at Aleu with a bored expression as Aleu explain why she had gotton out of hand again, "Sorry, Moma. It just happens when I'm excited!" She said simply, my twin then dived on her "I'm excited too! I can't wait to get a human and chew on their socks!" Saba giggled, Aleu pounced on her and the two started fighting. I started to talk to Dad "Papa? Are you going to get a human too?" I asked. I now look back and notice how uncertain he looked but he winked at me and replied "Nah! See, humans like cute little puppies like you! Not old, grizzly grown-ups like me!" Then I saw him! My boy. "These are Rosie's puppies, Daddy. Jenna had them, I like this one!" He had said before picking me up, I wagged my tail in happiness, I was going home! I heard Mom say "I know that human, he'll be a good boy for Dingo!" It was sad but yet joyful feeling to know she still cared for me even though I'd be living at the far side of town.
My boy, William or Will for short was the son of one of the mushers in town. He had honey-golden hair, he was about ten or nine years old when he took me in. He brought me to his home: a cottage on which overlooked Nome, it was very suitable for a husky: wide open space and a cosy, roomy home. He only had one dog: Hickory, a friendly Irish Setter. He got on with me and taught me all that Will's father taught him, he was like a brother to me, he made me think of my own brothers (and sisters) and how they were coping. Hickory noticed this as I whimpered in my sleep at night, missing my mother's warm voice and body and he said to me: "People think that once someone dies, they are gone forever but if you keep them with you, their spirit and memory will live in your heart". I never forgot what he said but I still hoped Aleu, Saba, Yukon, Kodi and Denali had found good homes.
That's the end of Chapter One but it switches between the different siblings (except for Kodi and Aleu) like Cat's. Then Winni, Yapok, Fraser and Atlanta join in when they are born. Please be honest with your comments.
