Kodi was hanging out with the sled team, suddenly, they looked to the ocean. A large wake thundered by. "Oh man, what IS that?!" Kirby squeaked. "I don't know, but I think we should find out." Kodi replied. "Good idea." Ralph agreed.

I would like for you to continue so I could see what caused the wake in the ocean.

ALRIGHTY, THEN! LET'S KEEP IT GOING!

CHAPTER I: THE POWERFUL THREAT

Kodi and the others raced along the shore, after the 'mystery wake'. "Come on!" Kodi shouted supportingly to the others. "Ow, ow, ow!" Ralph winced. Kirby turned around. "What now, Ralphie?" "My toenail's killin' me!" What, AGAIN?!" Dusty sighed frustratingly. Kodi continued to watch the wake. Then, he saw something that haunts him to this day. A massive triangular fin broke the surface. "Oh, man!!" Kodi stammered in shock. "I know what it is!" Ralph called. He hadn't even seen the fin break the surface. "Well then, Ralphie, enlighten us." Kodi replied in a British accent. Ralph began to hum the Jaws theme. "Ralph, please!" Dusty scoffed. "There's no possible way that could happen!" Ralph saw the fin. "Then how do explain THAT!!!! All eyes turned on the fin. "Whoa!!" Kirby reeled back and nearly fell on top of Dusty. Then, Kodi saw a fishing trawler right in it's path. "Oh, not good." Kodi groaned. It launched itself out of the water, revealing a large head, and glistening white teeth. "Jaws." Kodi whispered. The shark latched onto the ship. "Hey Kodi, isn't that........." Dusty asked. Kodi eyes went wide with fear.

Wow, awesome start, a Balto-Jaws fic, *plays Jaws soundtrack*, I can't wait for the rest of it.

Once I find out if I can use Kodi Girl's character, Katie, I will continue.

Wow, this is different I must wonder how Jaws manages to stay alive in much cold water tho

PART II: THE "THING"

"Mom." Kodi stammered as he saw Jenna, standing in a state of shock only inches from the shark's three rows of fist-sized teeth. Kodi took a couple steps back, and charged towards the boat, Jenna closed her eyes, then heard Kodi yell. "OFF THE BOAT, FISH FACE!!!" Kodi latched his jaws around the shark's nose, the beast rolled in pain. Then, the shark thrashed Kodi around, but he held on. Jaws then crunched down on Kodi's right leg. Kodi howled in pain, he could hear the bones in his leg snap and crack. Kodi, fighting through the pain, slammed his paw into the shark's only weak point: it's eye. The shark released it's grip on Kodi's leg and swam off. Kodi managed to drag himself onto the beach. Dusty ran towards him. Kodi's leg was horrificly twisted and mangled. Kirby and Ralph helped Jenna home. Kodi was rushed to the vet. Dusty put her ear to the door. She was horrified at what she heard: "Kodi's pretty busted up." Mr. Simpson said to the vet. "Yep. Well I can assure you one thing: Kodi will never run the mail again. I wouldn't be surprised if we'd have to amputate."

good job, but um in the movies jaws could eat small boats with one bite so i think if he bit kodi's leg it would do more than just break it. basically he wouldnt have a leg anymore.

OOOOOOH! HOW COOL! keep going, i love stories with cliffhangers!
