Depends what you need help with really. You can't expect to be an expert at a program straight away, it takes time to get used to everything and knowing whats there and what it does etc. Best way to know what brush to use is to experiment with any you choose.

Fieto really? that would be great, thanks!
Loz - Well yea, i have tried out lots of brushes. It's not really the brush i'm having the problem with. The problems are more when you draw with it. When you fill in colour, the lines go weak and thin, how do you stop this problem? And when your drawing with the brush, the colour isn't say black, its light grey and turns darker as you go over it. Im just a little confused with this. How do good Photoshop users, get the lines on their pics or the outline of your picture, able to get it looking right? Not smudgy and different coloured, with a thin weak line

I use photoshop i enjoy it...The brush called..paintbrush Oval 45 pixels Multiply. Is the one i like using...you can color with it and it goes on light and if its to light you can go over again and it gets a little darker. And the airbrush is really neat...its better for coloring in. If you have any questions you can pm me.

Photoshop = crap.
Fireworks/Corel PHOTO-PAINT = good.
Although I don't like Photoshop- because of its ease of use for beginners- I would recommend it more if you do simplistic things like a gradient background or rain/snow, etc. or just plain don't know what to do.
I'm the person that uses PHOTO-PAINT/R.A.V.E./DRAW to edit my pictures (along with 3ds Max 8 for 3D rendering). Makes photo editing much more fun to work with.

hmm, thanks! I will try that! I hope this is the answer to my problems, i will try it out right now and let you see how it works! If i have any more problems i will of course PM you, you seem to know a lot. But im still haveing a problem, you say when you go over it gets darker, well, what if you are drawing and you have to go over but you don't want it to get darker? And is there a brush that doesn't get darker? I like Photoshop, and i think its a really good program, so i'm going to continue using it until i become good with it! Some of the people who use photoshop have amazing art, and even though its a little hard at first, i'm sure i will soon get the hang of it. I'm already used to making backroounds on Photoshop, then i put a picture over the top that i drew with another program, i'm wanting to know how do draw a picture in Photoshop to get good results!

Well, fill the background layer first with any colour you wish, that will stop it looking "weak". Get a hard brush, and just do the lineart. The reason why it looks "weak" is because the layer is transparent, that the only reason I can think of. Or maybe because your using a small brush.

i will try that, thanks Loz. But i'm not using a small brush, it looks weak with both big and small. But what about when you go over it again accidentily and the line gets darker and you don't want it to?

If you accidently go over and it gets darker you simple go up to edit then you scroll down to undo.
