So many good films have disappoiting following-ups.Such as<Lady and Trump>,<Peter Pan>and even <The Lion King>.These kings of follow-ups ofen tell the story about the children of the hero in the first films, and almost tell the same stories.I have beem driven mad by them!(But I prefer Balto2 than the1,just because I have something common with Aleu0

Actually, if you say so, there NO good sequels at all. Except maybe The Rescuers Down Under, but that's an Independent movie actually, I don't connect it with original Rescuers. They had absolutely nothing similar... except of the characters.
Mmm but any other sequel is pure disappointment.
I love the original Lady and the Tramp so badly, unfortunately no one understands me with that. :( Lady and the Tramp 2 is pretty good but only if you think about it as a different movie, not like the original film.

I like all follow up movies, for some reason I just love to watch things continue. There has never been a time for me when I actually didnt like a sequel, In fact I even like all of the LBT movies. Its like reading fanfiction I just cant get enough of these movies. For sequels that are better than the original, I'm still debating with myself on which ADGTH movie is better. 2 was so awesome, but one was a good movie as well. As you can tell I'm in the group of people who want a Balto 4. :)

The only movie I know that no doubt the best but has disappointing follow ups, IMO, was the LBT. But some of the follow-ups were decent, I have to admit. I started to lose interest once it got up to maybe 6 or 7.

Balto 2 just had numerous flaws that I didn't like, but other than that, it was goosd. Balto 3 was better than 2, but still had some flaws, but better animation.

**laughs.** I lost interest after #4. The Land Before Time movies are too kiddy for me. The original was lovely, though.

I also liked The Lion King 2. I agree with the person who said that Lady & the Tramp 2 is enjoyable when thought of as a different movie. Nothing tops the majesty of the original film!

Here are my two worst sequels: Wolf Quest & Pocahontas 2. Plus the other 4000 LBT series.

Some I just refuse to watch!

Lady & the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure; great songs! But it isn't a patch on the wonderful original. :)
The Lion King II: Simba's Pride; brilliant!
The Lion King 3: Hakuna Mattata; OK, bit too T&P based though.
101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure; ... not bad.
Cinderella II; not a patch on the lovely original, pretty awful really!!!
The Jungle Book; Actually quite enjoyed this! Not amazing though.

All I can think of atm ...

Some sequels out there are nice, but some sequels were never meant to be made.

The reason it's T&P based is because it's Lion King 1/2, well, in America, I believe. In other countries, it's 3.

most of the movies with planned sequels have better sequels, for example: LotR and Starwars. movies that have a conflict and a resolution in one movie tend to have worse sequels that have nothing to do with the original movie except for the characters. a lot of times it's not even the same actors. I don't like the balto sequels as much as the originals. it would be horrible if say... there was Apollo 13 II
