I went on vacation in New Jersey not too long ago, and yes, the temperature was really hard to bare. The highest temperature last Wednesday in New Jersey was about 110 degrees F. Trust me, it wasn't fun at all. I could barely walk on the beach without burning my feet. Even the water in the pool and the water coming out of the sink was scorching.
In Maryland it's been pretty moderate lately. It hasn't been too warm, and the temperature is a lot easier to manage. I think it's somewhere around 80 degrees F at the moment, if not less. The hottest it's been in Maryland I believe was about 90 degrees F.

I wish I had a house in Alaska and in Hawaii and a personal jet to take me form place to place so I could either be in summer weather or winter weather both of which I enjoy.

I know how you feel, it's very hot here in the UK, just today it was 26-28 celcius, it's horrible and we had last night but it only lasted for 5 minutes and did'nt have any effect really, I'm afraid that the heat has now finally beaten me and I can't stand going out between 10:00am and 4:00pm, I hate the summer heat.

I saw ''An Inconvienient Truth'' last night and I must say, I am very worried about global warming. Statistics say parts of Antarctica and Greenland will melt, causing the water level to rise and flood Santa Cruz, where I live. Yesterday four people died where I live because of the heat waves. A few weeks ago I was in Seattle and the temperature was like 99 degrees fahrenheit or something. IN SEATTLE.
Scientists have found drowned polar bears looking for land that has melted.
Obviously something is not right at all.

I know what you mean. Here around KC we got a record high of around 105. All this heat right after I got back from vacation in Michigan, where the highs were around 75. I really hate Misery, err...Missouri. And unfortunately it's supposed to get right back up into the 90s before the next rain.
