i think that the users should be able to form groups specialized to solve problems for new and other users. this could help to take some pressure off the mods, and give the users some power. we as users should depend on ourselves as much as we can, so that the mods won't have so much to deal with, and so that the users won't need them as much.

the mods arent on all the time and thats when alot of fights happen so it would be good if the users had a little more power

Whoa, pull the reins in there, don't forget that this is Steets site and any organizations or anything you want to form within the site should be presented to him first and the mods do a good job at trying to keep the peace, this is a very large forum to manage and Steet already said in the News that he's recruiting new mods and doing other things to try and improve any situations within the site.

Yeah, more mods should be enough. We don't really need any other groups of people to help out. It would be hard to chose members, and with all the problems that the site has, this "group" would need to be very active and have a lot of time on their hands. So, overall, I'd have to say no to this one.

...if any at all. Take the artists' departure for instance; how many leagues of "problem-solvers" could've prevented that from happening? When was the last time talking ever made a difference? Eons ago, because talking is all we're able to do.

true, it is steet's site, i'm not trying to pass that up. i just think that a lot of the things here as far as helping to keep peace on the site, could be handled by the users themselves, we should'nt have depend on mods for something so simple. it's really absurd to need them for that, and i'm almost sure that they don't desire the extra burden of reminding people to do things like that.

Well, maybe, but how would you exactly put your idea into place? It doesn't seem possible to me.

the same way that you put mods into place for certian things. by monitoring the forums.
