Part 1 :3 Of a three series of pictures i'm making of Balto and his mother as a raven.
No harsh critique this time, i know it's really crappy. xD Who cares though, and the (c) just killed the picture xD
Took me like, three hours on photoshop, stopping constantly, would've taken only two.
Whelps, here it be

It's simple really, well for me at least.
For the fur: I choose a colour, get a soft brush, and put the opacity on 40%. I colour in the spot I want, and then go over the shadowed area once or twice, maybe like five times or until you like it. Then, i take a small brush, around 2 or 3, then set the brush mode to multiply and go over the area a few time. After that, I take the smudge tool, and go over it for a bit. After that, with the same colour, and same opacity, I put the brush size on 1, and go over it to make it look like fur. You could repeat these steps a few times until you like what you have :3
Rain: I created a brush in the shape of a line going vertically |. Make a new file, then use then press shift, make a straight line. Go to Edit > Define Brush > and save it as whatever you want. Then, I take a blue colour, and white. Then put the spacing on 1000% and the Hue Jitter and Scatter on 100%. Then use this thingy (I’ll give a link to what it looks like so you understand) And make the line so it’s facing whatever way you want the rain to go. After that, go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. I’m pretty sure you can handle it from there.
Hope that helps :3
