*jumps up and down* My third and fourth grade teacher is crazy about that book! At the end of third grade, we got our own copies! It's a great book!
But ERETH'S BIRTHDAY is better.

*jumps up and down wildly and screams* YAY!!! Someone finally loves the book as much as me! I read it in 4th grade, and re-read it in 6th grade, in April of this year. The funny thing is, one of the popular guys in my grade, Hunter, who's really tough and all, loves the book the same as me! Oh yeah, and I didn't even have it read to me by any teacher, the front and summary looked and sounded interesting, so I just checked it out of my elementary school's library, and took it home and read it. I finished it in 2 days!

P.S. (My elementary school's library the first time, and my middle school's library the second time. I will be in 7th grade this August.)

Same. Our teacher read us the first book, like in 4th grade. XD I don't know why, but it kinda reminded me of Mouse and the Motorcycle...Anyway, I thought the book was great, so I read the second book, Poppy and Rye. That one's pretty good as well.

Yeah, I've read, like, almost all the books in the Poppy series. Have you read any of the other books Avi has written? Like the Romeo and Juliet one? it's hilarious!

Oh, jeez...I can't really remember any of the other books that Avi wrote, save for those. I use to be a really big fan of hers, but that was a long time ago...
