Balto aka "Snowballs"???????

Where the heck did someone hear of Balto being also known as "Snowballs"? It says so here: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1800020455/details

That is weird, I've never heard it called that before,

, I've heard of Balto snowballs before which pictures of the characters that the animators use in production but I've never heard the movie itself called Snowballs!?!

It's not a new thing.
I used to check OFTEN Fluke's Tribute to Balto.

I guess now that mabye "Snowballs" is probably just a nickname that the producers and animators gave it. I've never heard anyone refer to it by that name before, so, yeah...

agreed, the names seems very unusual, weird, and must have come from someone nicknaming him that.

Folks, just because someone who makes or updates a Yahoo web page makes that claim, doesn't necessarily mean it's true at all. Without any sort of references or verification from official sources, it is unlikely that this is true. Take it with a grain of salt. If neither Steven Spielberg nor anyone from his former Amblimation company OR Universal Studios has referred to the movie in this manner, then it is a claim unworthy of merit.
