Band Time!

I start camp on the 31st. We're staying home cuz our levee hasn't passed in two years. Not enough money :roll:

That's what my band director thinks. We have a brass band. The only acception are the saxes but he hates those! He just hates woodwind cuz he doesn't know how to play those. :lol:

And hey! Woodwinds rock! I've moved to xylaphone for marching band but I can't wait to play my oboe in the winter! I'm gonna see if I can play in a second concert band so I can play my clarinet too. Woodwinds are awesome!!!

No, but used to play violin in orcastra (Cant spell it =p)

Man, if only you lived in Stillman Valley. My band teacher is always needing violins for the pit band for the musicals.

Used to play E-flat Alto Saxophone, but after my Sophomore year in high school, I dropped marching band and went into a different field. The marching director was really disappointed. I was one of the three Altos that marched on the field that was pretty good with rythym and step, and had excellent sound. Our high school band is dying (all there is this year is 128 marching band members).

That's nothing! Only 115-120 in mine. We lost like, 30 some seniors. 40 8th graders signed up for regular band. Only half signed up for marching band :shock:

We'll be playing at Disney World in March and you'd think that would get them to go :roll:

hehe. My band went there in the spring. It was amazing.

And for my school, if we're in band we have to be in marching band.

We usually play at Cedar Point too as it's in our back yard practically! Usually every year but with budget cuts, not this year.
