If you're looking for a good forum host, you should try InvisionFree. Although you'll need to learn HTML in order to create skins and other graphics, the program is free unless you register for a domain. If you need help with HTML, let me know, and I'll do what I can to help you. For all of your HTML learning needs, I recommend W3Schools. It will teach you everything you need to know about HTML, as well as a lot of other codes for websites.

If you need a website host such as the Balto Source main site, I recommend FreeWebs. It's a free and simple website builder, and is mostly free of popups. Another good website host is 1Colony. I use this host for my website. Be warned; although 1colony is a rather impressive host, popups will take over your site in a month or so. It happened so my site, so I'm almost positive that if you use this one, it will happen to yours as well. Also, the host only allows 12MB of free space. The rest you have to pay for. Don't worry about that, though. 12MB should be enough space for a small site.

Good luck with your site, by the way.

well if you talking bare-bones site construction, i recommend DreamWeaver MX. It's pricey, but it makes it easy for even the most tech illiterate person to make a site, with it's WYSIWYG editor...I'm not saying that your teck illiterate, just that if your like me and you don't know coding very well, it makes things a whole lot easier...

Ya...talk about pricey for Dreamweaver. (I had to save up for four months to buy Studio 8 ). But the majority of Dreamweaver is meant for more advanced sites- like if you want to add your basic CSS to the advanced forms of Java- anything goes on Dreamweaver.

If you don't want to pay for a site, then yes; use something like FreeWebs. If you want to make one of the thousands of Invision/ProBoards out there, those are also free as well and have it so you can set up however you want it. Plus, HTML is probably the most simplest language to learn- so even the most uncomputer-savvy person could do the basics...
