You know I don't really like to start new threads, but I just had to at this!! I'm sure you've all heard already. How terribly horrible!! Seven "coordinated" train bombings, happening one after the other, in Mumba, India. 174 is the official death toll so far, and more than 464 people injured. It brings back the memories of the London bombings. Oh, dear. All those poor people!! :( It's said the explosion could be heard 5 miles away!! And in a critical part of the country too!!

What's all your views on this?

No offense Suka but this is a kids board, I wouldn't even post about this. We hear enough stuff going on in the media and sometimes we just want to escape from it.

I'm not offended at all. In fact, I think you may be right; and for that, I am sincerely sorry for bringing more bad news to the forum. I don't blame you for wanting to get away from it all, but you gotta admit, there's not really any place you can do that. You said it yourself on other threads, the world isn't all hunky-dory. How often do you turn on the news to hear some fireman save a child from a burning building, or police officer announce his retirement?

Sorry, I just come from a familty who likes to keep up with current events. I'm sure you won't hold that against me, but if you're still a bit sour about the whole thing, again, I'm sorry.

I don't like to turn on the news Suka. Too much discrimination, too much bombing, too much everything. I've heard about all I could take of the media. What am I supposed to believe anymore? I don't know. But I don't blame you for wanting to keep up with the news. It's ok. There's nothing wrong with that. But I agree with Drew just try not to post this kind of stuff on the forums.

I thought I may have caught the attention of a few interested people, but seeing that my first two posters clearly have different views (which is cool), I wouldn't mind a mod locking this topic if people find it disturbing.

Hahaha, I'm such the boring type, huh?

Yeah I agree with the repliers. And who knows when bombings will ever stop. This place is more or less a sanctuary if I think about it.

Less ppl...about over 600 wounded and less than 200 died.

In Iraq over 50 dies in one day violent way. *whistles* about 200.000 so far I've heard have threw their lives away in bombarments...world kills itself

So much Chaos, meangingless blood shed, there is no point in all of this hell, but still some people are influenced by evil and well sometimes life's a bitch but we ether can do something about it, or we can't, I hate the can't for an answer.

I wonder how many more lives need to be taken before people start realizing what they are doing is wrong, I just hope they realize soon and not later.

*Sigh* I heard this on the news too, it reminds me of the Madrid rail bombings, awful, it's such a shame that people can be so cruel to their own kind, it makes me wonder just what the rest of us can do against such reckless hate?
