Balto fans, beware, you may feel quite angry at this...
I was'nt sure where to put this so I'm putting it here, I was just watching one of those pathetic 100 greatest... shows (I was bored) and this one for 'the 100 greatest family films' and Balto was'nt mentioned at all!!! TLK was there along with tons of other Disney films and Shrek but Balto was nowhere to be seen...Balto was a fantastic family film and I'm really angry that they've ignored it, Grrr....

Sad to say but that doesn't suprise me that Balto wasn't on it. If you look at most kids movies these days, what are they mostly watching, there not that interested anymore in true events, they want the fair tale type stuff. Yes it's sad that Balto wasn't on the list but you see, most movie critics don't like the truth. I had to yell at my local movie critic because he said a movie that was showing in theatres was bad and it was based on a true story. I said to him "You wouldn't know a good movie if it bit you in the ***." But of course he gives high praise to the blood and gore films.
