wolves all over the world right now are being slotered and a lot are rare now because of it and that pisses me right off and I want to do something but I can't . Do you all agree that wolves shouldn't be slotered just gfpr the fure or just to be captured what do you think.

It's a sad reality that we live in, theres not much one person can do but if people pull together thing can and will change. To help the cause and save wolves as well as other wildlife you could join a group like The Defenders Of Wildlife. Take a look at http://www.defenders.org/

Yes it's awful and I'm extremly saddened and angered by this there is nothing one person alone can do and unfortunately not many people are fighting for the wolves, people want to help the 'cuddly' animals like bears, tigers, monkeys, dolphins, animals like that, don't get me wrong I love these animals too and want to save them aswell but people think of wolves as evil and cruel and think wolves are mindless killers, before we can save the wolves we need to educate people about them to get people on the wolves side, although I fear that by the time people's view of wolves has changed it may be too late to save them.

I've signed about 10 petitions or so against that. I think it's wrong! Wolves almost have more of a right to be here then humans. They were here before us and are nicer to eachother than humans are!! People should just LEARN about the wolves rather than kill them all!!! I hear all the time how people are soo proud to kill a wolf and I sit there thinking "WTF is wrong with you?!?!?!"

Somewhere they are trying to make it legal to kill wolves just because the population of moose is low! Does it occur the the people that wolves don't hunt healty animals unless they have to? If there is a population decresse, it is most likely because most of the moose are sick!

I think it's horrible that six Mexican gray wolf pups were killed the Mexican wolf is quite a rarity among wolves and to hear this is quite unsettling. However in the article it states the male did this to more then likely protect the pups he had fathered, this is understandable. I do believe however that there was a gross oversight in putting wolves from another pack with another wolf that already had pups, whoever made that choice really needs to think about what they're doing.

actully here is how I got the idea on to start this but you probly don't care how but I'll tell you if you're interested in it. I was sitting in my livingroom and flipping the chanles to see if anything good was on.So I flipped to one chanle and it was about indangered animals of the world so I started to watch it and when they came to wolves that pissed me off so I desided to make this topic. You're all right not one of us can stand alone all though a lot of us has tried but together we can try to stop the sloters and you're also right that we would have to teach people that they may be carniverous but are gentle when not thretened. That will be very hard but like I said if we all stand upp and dos this together they might stop and who cares if we live in different cuntries states, provinces whatever we should all stand up for these beautiful creatures.

*Sighs* Sadly, this is the world we all live in. And of course when there are laws that send people straight to jail for murder or torture, some people are sick enough to think 'Hay, there's no laws against killing an animal' so all they've got to do is go to a pet store and buy an animal. T_T, personally, im a big supporter of checking customers backgrounds. Ive they've had an offense on animal cruelty, it'll show. Then the people will know not to allow this person another animal. But this doesn't mean he wont get one. All he has to do is find on pet store that doesn't check their customers backgrounds. Or they could get a stray.

Though this has nothing to do with wolves. Some places do have animal rights laws, so there's one good thing. If you want to help, you could also donate to the SPCA. Or, like Lakoswolf said, Donate to Defenders of Wildlife.

I know what you mean and I'll sign endless petitions for the wolves but the sad truth is that the majority of people don't want to live with predators on their doorstep, there have been hundreds of petitions for wolves but with the best will in the world we can do nothing until people know about them, fear=destruction in this case and because people don't know about wolves they are scared of them and unfortunately instead of staying away from the wolves people prefer to kill them, the general public must first be taught about the animals before we are able to stop the killings and councils and governments also need to take notice because despite bans on killing them poachers continue to kill them because people will buy their skins and they will pay a lot of money for genuine skins, first people need to be taught then we can prevent people killing the wolves and all the other animals. It's sad but true.

if noly there was a way to convince people that these beautiful creatures are reletively harmless when not thretoned and change theyr mindes but will be verry hard but also by the time we do that they might be all gone it will take years to do that but it's possible but yet hard.

God save us. Humans have no reason to be doing this. *Draws swords* I would do anything in my own power to save them if I could, or even knew where to start. Still , it will not stop me.
