Yes, of course! I think the reasons are obvious...(you only have to see how many fanfics were made trying to explain Balto's past, to understand that...)
But I doubt they will do, because it would be too sad or violent.

I voted for depends because I want movies about the pups but if the prequel for balto is good then that sounds great too...if not then I don't want it.

I voted it 'depends'.
This is one part of the Balto fandom that is great in fan fiction. It leaves it up to the fans imagination as to what happened to Balto before he was hero of Nome.

Yeah I agree to what GK said, alot of people like to make prequel fanfics of Balto, But even if it did come out I still would want to see it badly.
