The tail of friends
This story is about a Husky and a Border collie who are very close friends, but when the husky goes to the Itidorod, the border collie gets bored & goes to set on an adventure she would never forget.


Chapter 1:

In the morning Ziggy (Husky) woke up every morning to greet his friend. His friend Lunia (Border collie) slept in the field with the flock of sheep. Ziggy came up to her & barked & wagged his tail. “Good morning Lunia.” Ziggy said to Lunia. Lunia woke up slowly & smiled, “Good morning Ziggy.” She said with a soft voice. She then stood up & stretched out. Then Lunia’s owner placed her food & water bowl out. She over to them & began to drink. Ziggy already ate; he was an early raiser after all. Lunia got finished drinking and went to her food bowl and began to eat.

After that, Lunia & Ziggy strolled about in the city. Big stray dogs watching them. One of the stray dogs name was Bear. He was a mix of a Rottweilr and a German shepherd. Bear hated Ziggy but loved Lunia. He walked towards them, “Hello Lunia.” He said in his deep voice. “Hello Beat.” Lunia said to him. Ziggy gave a low growl to Bear. Bear chuckled, “You don’t have a chance against me.” Bear said to Ziggy. Ziggy stopped growling and glared at Bear, “Come on Lunia, lets go.” Ziggy said to her. Lunia nodded & followed Ziggy. Bear watched them leave. He wanted Lunia, but with Ziggy in the way he couldn’t.

Chapter 2:

When Ziggy & Lunia approached the park. Ziggy wagged his tail & barked. Lunia smiled & ran towards the park & Ziggy followed her. Ziggy loved the park especially with Lunia. Lunia gave a smile, she then ran to the pond for a swim. Ziggy followed he then heard the ducks quaking when they arrived.

Lunia splashed into the pond and all of the ducks flew away. Ziggy laughed & jumped into the pond as well. Ziggy then looked over at Lunia, he barked & wagged his tail back and forth happily. Lunia jumped up and down and splashed Ziggy.

Cool story!^^ I love the character names, too. Are you going to write more?

Chapter 3:

Later that night Ziggy & Lunia walked home, it was very late about ten ‘o clock. Lunia smiled and went towards her house. Ziggy went back to his apartment. He then ran up the stairs to see one of his humans out. The boy looked at Ziggy & ran over to him. Ziggy wagged his tail and barked. The boy smiled & let Ziggy go inside. Ziggy walked inside, while inside he heard something outside. He ran to the door and was released back out. He ran down the stairs. He saw Bear and the other strays. Bear sneered, “You have something for me, I want Lunia for myself.” Bear said to Ziggy. Ziggy snarled, “You can’t have her!” he shouted to Bear.

Bear and the other dogs circled Ziggy, “Really house pet, you need to calm yourself down. I don’t want to cause a fight, listen there is a idtorod coming up, and if you win it then I won’t bother you ever again.” Bear said to Ziggy, and then walked off. The other dogs followed. Ziggy was worried he had never been in that kind of race, but it was in his blood after all. He had to go to Alaska and win, or he would lose his dearest friend in the world.

Chapter 4:

Ziggy had to tell Lunia. He raced down the streets towards the feilds. he barked. Lunia heard Ziggy & got up. She walked towards him wondering what was wrong. "What is it?" Lunia asked Ziggy. "Bear wants me to go to the itidord." Ziggy said to Lunia, "And if I don't win, I'll lose you." Ziggy said sadly. Lunia lowered her head, "You most win, Ziggy. I love you." Lunia said with tears coming out, "Hey don't worry it is in my blood to race, but I never done a thing like this, its going to be tough." Ziggy said. He then gave Lunia a soft nuzzle. Lunia smiled & nuzzled Ziggy.

The next morning Ziggy walked towards Alaska, which was only five miles from where he lives, which was in Canada. Lunia was worried about Ziggy. What would happen if he did not return, everything was rushing through Lunia's head.
