Hi guys,
I've always been a fan of the Balto Source forum and website and popped in every now and then but my site "The Old Mill" has been temporarily shutdown since my webhost canceled my webhosting. So till I get my next paycheck The Old Mill will be down. So I have found a new enjoyment on Balto Source. You all have made me feel real welcome here and I'm really enjoying my time here. I love this site so much now I've moved all of my fan content to this site. That includes my limited fanart at the moment ... and my Balto Music Videos that I've been making for the past few years. The music videos are trully my passion in the Balto fan community and I really hope you guys enjoy them. I've really been getting back into making them recentlly and plan on making many more within the next few weeks and on.
Hope to have many more fun filled experiences with you guys as I'm here to stay. Even after I reopen my site.
Thanks for taking me in!

Hello Halfbreed and welcome to Balto Source, I'm Whitewolf(uk) or UK for short.
Which program would you recommend for making music vids?

Well, if you want my advice...
Windows Movie Maker works the best for me. Honestly, I've never used any other program for music videos. They always turn out good and it has a lot of special effects that you can add to the video.

I really love to use Sony's Vegas 5 or any of their "Vegas" line of software but the nicer versions can get a little more expensive than the low end consumer software you find on the shelves. I've seen a good version of it at Best Buy for $150
However right now I'm using Video Explosion 1.5 Deluxe by Nova Development and Sony... It's one of the lower end versions of Vegas. I also use Adobe Premiere Elements but that program is really intensive on your computer so you have to have a good computer to run it smooth.
Really you can use any program though it's all in the user's abilities in the end. But you are limited in the lower end programs. I started off making videos in the older version of Windows Movie Maker with a demo DVD Ripper but now I've moved my way up with the introduction of some funds, as that's what it all depends on unfortunately
thank you all so much for such a quick welcome response too
