Hi All

I have the region 4 ntsc release of balto 3 and it don´t have any subtitling (what is very strange, i nevew saw early an dvd of movie WITHOUT any subtitling) so i can~t understand all the movie in english, even knowing the english version is 100x better than our version, so... i really apreciate if some one can write/post the script or at least the songs lyrics of the movie here.

Thanks anyway.

Thiago

I don't think anyone has an English script of WoC yet. I think most sites (that have already seen the movie) will probably wait until after the US or the even later UK release, so that everyone won't get too spoiled with the dialogue before they see the film.

I say, wait at least a month or two and I bet that a few fansites should have a transcript of the movie available soon!

That's my prediction! :D

Good luck anyways!

So, what can I do now? just watch the our poor dubed version until when someone write the captions for me...

When the US dvd be relased, someone can send to me the file containing the subtitling or/and the captioning of the dvd? (this isnot ilegal, first because I have the dvd of the movie, and second, I just want the captions)

He already has the dvd.
I hadn't thought about it, but I think you're not lucky : there is no english subtitles even on the US dvd, only french and spanish subtitles...

The only solution will be to wait for someone write the script. I don't think it will take too much time...

No! Im still lucky!
The dvd doesn´t have SUBTITLES in english but have CAPTIONS in english and that already solve my problem because I have Captions decoder and also someone who have the R1 release can send to me the file containig the caption for me.

Thanks for the infomation

Nor will do the french cartoon network.
Is it a public (free) channel in the US? Because the french cartoon network is not free and is rather expensive.

Here its is paid (Today I don´t have the cartoon network because its price becomes too expensive, since I have singned my paid tv in 2001)

Talking about prices, i was thinking in import ter R1 dvd of balto 3. but its final price for me was not too atractive: 34 us dolars (against the 11 dolars from our version) so is not worth buying it just because the subtitling.

Subtitles: (Also Called Open Caption) Are recorded in the Movie or dvd, You don´t need a special decoder to view them.

Captions: (Closed Captions) Are encoded using the line 21 of the image, and are usually used for subtiling for the hearing impaired people. so you need an special decoder for it. In USA there is a law that all TVs beyound 13 inches, must have an internal closed captions decoder in it.

And yet sometimes, captions are wrong too . . . .

(Trust me, I've watched shows and movies with CC on and some lines were either skipped or written wrong)
